I used this as a gift. When the bell is rung it is loud as most bells are.

We live in the country and wanted an outside bell to call family to supper. The mounts were drilled well so it was easy to fasten it to the exterior of the house. The tone on the bell is beautiful, clear, and loud. We love it! Where we live can get quite windy and the rope and clapper are heavy enough that it doesn't blow in the wind and ring on its own.

The media could not be loaded.  Pros: This is a nice sounding bell. It’s loud but pleasant sounding—not shrill like a smaller cast iron bell I tried first. It’s attractive and can be heard all around my 1 acre property easily. I included a short video so you can hear the sound. My phone doesn’t capture how loud it is, but you get a good idea of the pleasant pitch.Cons: The finish was chipped at the top on one side. See attached photo. It seems fairly sturdy, though I wonder how it will hold up to the elements over time. Mine will be covered and not in the sun, so I don’t anticipate too much trouble, but I don’t know if it he finish would hold up in salt-spray or lots of rain for example.

We are very happy with the quality of this bell. I also really like the color.We have it outside & are hoping that our dog will learn to ring it so we know when he wants to come inside. He already rings a bell to let us know when he wants to go outside.

Product looks great hanging on our kitchen wall and it's functional! Product was delivered on-time and in good condition. This is a good size bell, it is really loud and it can be heard all through our house. We use it all the time to call the kids for dinner, so we don't have to scream.

Great value. Better for indoor use but can be used outdoors as well. High-pitched tintinnabulation. Satisfied.

Very pretty. Nice, deep sound, and not an annoying tinkle. Good dinner bell. Nobody can claim they didn't hear the call!

Sound is very nice though the bell itself feels a little lighter than I anticipated which makes it feel cheaper. It’s pictured almost black and is called ‘dark antique’ and that’s what I wanted but that is NOT what was received. I got light red/copper color. I’m most disappointed about the color and have to decide if I was the paint it or return it. It will probably go back which is frustrating.
