I got them tight but the plastic is weak enough they should not have even put them on there. I mean they broke before it was tight so bad. The rings themselves worked fine just had hoped to be able to remove them easily if/when I needed to.. Also the metal strap that comes out the back runs into the plastic thing while tightening and makes in incredibly annoying to finish unless you hold down the protruding metal..

At the end you must use pair of plier to make sure it probably secured

They work, not the sturdiest but sufficient for my dust collection system tubing.

I used these on a dryer duct. These are very light duty clamps. Threads bind while tightening. Very, very difficult to torque up. Not enough room to grab with your fingers. Buy heavy duty clamps that tighten with screw drivers and sockets. To add insult, the wing nuts stop you from applying a layer of aluminum tape for additional sealing.

It took some bending and a liberal application of screw wax before it became a one hand job. Even then, best to take out as much slack as possible before crawling in behind the dryer.

OK, they're pipe/hose clamps. Never been "Rocket Science",to begin with.But I'm definitely a huge fan of the thumb screws!!!SO easy!Never thought these clamps could be taken to the "Next Level",but, the thumb screws actually do it!I've always replaced all squeeze-type hose clamps with this typeclamp, as your seal is adjustable with simple tightening. You CANtighten spring-steel squeeze-type clamps, but it's a major pain!AND!!! --- the thumb-screws on these clamps are GREEN!!!I'm a "Green Machine"! (Not just because I'm a Marine! LMAO!I HIGHLY recommend these clamps!

These 4" hose clamps made hooking up my dryer venting so much easier. The only way the product could be improved is if there was a little more feed on the clamp to open it larger to make it a bit easier to put over the dryer venting connections. Otherwise they are well worth the investment.

Bought these clamps to attach a dryer hose that kept falling off the dryer almost every time I used it. Received the clamps in September and attached the hose to the dryer immediately. Has stayed in place since then! Couldn't be happier with the product. Was easy to attach and is clearly working exactly as promised. Only wish I had ordered it earlier!
