The Circle Trilogy: Morrigan's Cross; Dance of the Gods; Valley of Silence Review: Perfection - I’ve read so many Nora Robert’s books but found this trilogy just as amazing. Starting it the way she did and then ending it in the story telling way was perfection. Review: A Fabulous Trilogy - Nora Roberts is known for her trilogies, for good reason. Her best stories almost always come in 3s, and are best read in order, again for good reason. They’re meant to be read, and enjoyed, in order, so as not to miss anything. This trilogy is no different. As always, she writes wonderful characters, fully formed on the page, interesting and diverse. Her worldbuilding, again, is always fascinating, so colorful and detailed, that you wish you could go there and immerse yourself in it. Her storytelling is stellar, as always, and includes plenty of magic, as most of her trilogies do. However, this one goes in a different direction than her others, making it more original, and interesting as well. You’ll get the joys, the sorrows, the laughs, the tears, and the love, especially the love! These are the earmarks of her best stories, but they happen somehow differently in this trilogy. I won’t put in any spoilers, just say you should ABSOLUTELY read this trilogy. It’s enjoyment and entertainment, love and war, and should not be missed. I LOVE this trilogy, and hope you will, as well! It’ll be worth your time to read it. It made me laugh, and it made me cry. Most of all, it made me FEEL! That’s Nora Roberts’ gift, that she writes stories so well crafted, especially her characters, that she makes you CARE, about her characters, and what’s to come. That’s a powerful gift, and she wields it better than most. Take the time, and immerse yourself in this story. You won’t regret it! Enjoy!

Great Read, Perfect Quality
Nora Roberts is an exquisite writer. I was pleased the box set came without looking crushed in the least. I have ordered box sets before and the books are in great shape, however, the box has scratches or bent corners or is even ripped. This was not the case. It looked entirely brand new which is what I paid for. As for the book, it takes you on a journey following 6 individuals in a trilogy trying to fight the original vampire, Lilith. It takes you through time and different locations. There are seedy parts, and romantic, and the need to keep reading because you do not know what is going to happen to your beloved characters. The time travel is well done, without all the hyperbole typically associated with it. The focus is more on the growth and love of the characters and their common enemy, rather than this idea that there needs to be a huge focus on the when and where. You meet vampires, witches, warlocks, shape shifters, warriors, and hunters. Each chapter reveals answers just as it causes more. You finish the final chapter with this sense of accomplishment and a desire to read more of her books. The Three Sisters trilogy is a great place to go next!

Circle Trilogy - Review
Morrigan's Cross: They were hand picked by the gods to stop a scourge from taking over all the known worlds. Can they become a unit, raise an army to defeat the demons in the few sort months they are allotted? Hoyt the Sorcerer: He believes there is no telling No to the Morrigan. He will find the circle that's needed to defeat the demons. First one to recruit - his brother who has been undead for 900 years. Hoyt must time travel from the twelfth century Ireland to modern day New York City Though he does not care for witches, he finds himself attracted to the witch that has joined with him and his brother. Glenna the Witch: She knows there's something brewing, and she wants to find out what. She does a spell to find the sorcerer she helped in her dream-state, surprised to find him just a few blocks away. She joins the circle and they start to make plans on how to save the worlds. I enjoyed this book. While it's not my favorite of Ms. Roberts' trilogies, it's one that I'll likely read again. Dance of the Gods: They were hand picked by the gods to stop a scourge from taking over all the known worlds. Can they become a unit, raise an army to defeat the demons in the few sort months they are allotted? Blair the Warrior: She's known of the undead all her life. It's been part of her family for generations - starting from Nola - Hoyt & Cian's sister. She is all business and ready to do what needs to be done. She doesn't need, nor want, anyone in her life. They all walk away anyway, so why bother? Larkin of the many shapes: He's a shape-shifter. He can take the from of any living thing. He came through the portal with his best friend and cousin, Moria, not really believing what she told him of the monsters she's seen, and now must fight. But when he sees them for himself, it's hard not to believe. Then there's the lovely Blair. They must all trust each other to save the worlds. I really like Larkin. He's a bit of a comic relief, I think. Blair is the opposite - she's here to kill the demons, and that's it. No time for play, until Larkin makes her relax to see more than just the end goal. Valley of Silence: They were hand picked by the gods to stop a scourge from taking over all the known worlds. Can they become a unit, raise an army to defeat the demons in the few sort months they are allotted? Moria the Scholar: She saw her mother killed by the monsters. She would give her life to avenge her. Now, she must make the choices for her people. Does she lead them to the battle? Or does she let the monsters come and kill them like they did her mother? Cian the one that was lost: He was turned 900 years ago. He would like nothing more than to kill the one that created him. He thought he liked his empty life before these other five crashed into it. He thought he was over feeling for family. They proved him wrong. Especially one small, but mighty, queen. The final book in the Circle Trilogy is packed with action. The final battle scenes shows each of the six battling their nemesis. I liked how it showed some of the circle taking serious hits. As I stated before, this isn't one of my favorite trilogies that Ms. Roberts has written, but it is one I'll likely read again sometime.

I accidentally read the second book a few months ago and was hooked. After that I had to buy the full set and read them order. The author weaves a magical tale of the battle against evil fighting against seemingly impossible odds to save the known worlds from Lilith and her army of evil vampires; of love, friendship and family loyalty. The band of six brave heroes brought together by the gods is comprised of twin brothers Hoyt - a powerful sorcerer and his brother Cian - a vampire turned by the evil Lilith, Glenna - a powerful witch, Blair - a vampire hunter, Larkin - a shapeshifter, and Moira - the future queen of Geall where the final battle will be fought. Once started I couldn't put the books down, I was there cheering for the good guys with each triumph and commiserating the set backs, I loved the romance as the couples paired off and was rooting for happy ever afters. It was a riveting read, an emotional roller coaster ride which didn't disappoint, in short a highly recommended read.

The end brings tears of joy to your eyes because the story ends with a Happily Ever After when good over comes evil.
