Trickle charges your battery
Trickle charges your battery so it is fresh to go when you need it. Plenty of chord, small so not in the way and just works!

good for keeping my batteries charged
I bought several of these a couple years ago, through time I've needed to replace them, so I'd say the average lifecycle is about 2 years each. I use them on my ATV's, Motorcycles and camper battery to keep charged through the winter and they work perfectly. A couple items to note are:1. Having the alligator clip connected all the time to my camper battery caused it to corrode enough that the alligator clip was unusable after about 3 years.2. These do not connect to your typical tender connection whip that you might get from an auto store. You must use the ones that come with the panel.3. Besides the typical wear and tear these things keep my batteries charged and my toys ready for use, good value for the money. As mentioned I've bought these twice and didn't think twice.

12V
Well it has been in the window for just over a month. I went to start my vehicle and the battery voltage was 11.9 V. Normally it gets drained more than that so it definitely helped my situation. I was a little disappointed to see how much the plastic body of the unit was warping and deforming due to the heat on the dash. It is still working so I guess I’ll live with it. I just had it laying there so I can’t speak to the suction cup strength.

Great product, poor support
This worked really well to keep up the charge on my Prius car battery. They are a lighter-duty car battery, but prone to draining when not used, so this worked to keep the battery charged when parked for a few days. It even withstood persistent Seattle area rain on the roof of the car - just making sure to keep the connectors out of the rain by leaving the hood ajar. Please rest assured that I am slow to penalize for broken English. I have seen MANY such owner manuals with spelling and grammar errors - no big deal. The manual for this device was absolutely terrible - almost useless. When I used the contact information provided to clearly ask for clarification on how the power light works, the responder answered a different question (barely), and not the one I asked. So don't buy from these people unless you already have some basic electrical experience.A few things absent or unreadable from the manual that I had to figure out for myself:- Connecting the red clamp to the positive battery terminal, and the black clamp to a ground on the vehicle (like a bolt attached to the auto body), is safer than attaching the black clamp to the negative terminal. Most car manufacturers will recommend this, including for my older Prius.- The light on mine turns orange when it's getting enough sunlight to produce a charge. Connect it to a battery needing a charge and it turns green. If the battery is full and the sun is still out, it turns orange again to prevent an overcharge. That light goes dark when the sun goes down.

No good
Why did you pick this product vs others?:this did not work at all. Followedthe directions andd my battery was still dead after 3 days of sun shine. I would not recommend this item

Great for my motorcycle, boat and truck.
This is my second one... the first one I used on my boat. My boat is dry stored at the Marina and I have this solar panel gently laying on the boat cover by the outbard. It gets direct sunlight from noon to sunset. I take my boat out about two to three times a month and it starts every time, even the times I've went an entire month without touching the boat.I also have one plugged into my motorcycle. Before, my battery would die after two weeks of no use. Now it doesn't die at all with the solar charger.I recently used it on my F150 when I went out of state for a few weeks. My F150 has a ton of aftermarket electronics and when I came back, the vehicle started right up.

A simple effective design at a very affordable price.
I am using this to keep my power boat's battery charged while in its slip at the marina. I have it attached to a flat area on the stern using Velcro strips. I like the simple weather proof design and the blue light that indicates the panel is working. I measured the voltage output when in full sunlight and recorded 19 and some change volts. The marina charges an extra $10/month if you want electricity at your slip. I'm hoping this little panel will do the job of a plug-in trickle charger. If so, it pays for itself in two months!
