Door Pivot Hinges Heavy Duty Hinges for Doors Stainless Steel Pivot Door Hinge System

Perfect for the hidden wall door I built for access to the utility room after a basement remodel. You cannot tell it's a door. Opens and closes seamlessly with very little effort. Item needs to be chiseled into both the top and bottom of the door, as well as the top door frame, header, etc. Doing so on the door wasn't too bad, but the header contains moving parts that require much more material to be removed, and that was tedious and a real pain. No instructions, but the process is pretty self explanatory. A template for placement of the hinges would have saved measuring to get the vertical axis centered in line. Regardless, the finished results are great!

This hinge arrives and looked as described. I built a hidden door to cover a niche to serve as a china closet. The installation is for the experienced wood worker though. Very happy with the purchase.

Does the job well. Heavy duty. I used it to create a bifold door. Only one problem with my use is the hinge was not meant for that use. But I still like it.

The screw/pin mechanism failed after 2 or 3 times of opening it and remove the door to make frame adjustments. Now even if it’s fully unscrewed it is stuck in the locked position so I can’t remove the door anymore, I will have to cut the retractable pin with a metal saw to remove the door. It was good while it worked.

Very heavy duty. Work and look great!

I did not use as no instructions came with product

I bought these in anticipation of using them with the new swing doors I purchase. However, our contractor had to cancel our appointments before installing them and when he finally was able to do the work he said that they did not "center balance". Meaning they would not bring the swing doors back to center of the door frame. We had to purchase other hardware and because of the installation delays I missed the return date by 5 days. We would have checked with our contractor first but we thought we would be able to do the job ourselves but then decided it really needed a professional to do a good job. I'm sure the work just fine because the are very sturdy and well made. And the material they are made from is of high quality.
