Put floater in trash
Mixed feelings about the product. It is a great value to get the chemicals you will need for the price and as a single purchase. That said, the instructions are garbage. I finally gave up and had to reach out for explanations on how to take care of the hottub. The bromine floater, instructions made not a ounce of sense. The floater "ring" is meant to go around the bromine tablet bottle. you the cut holes in the bottle to allow for water to flow through.. the issue here is once the holes are cut there is no going back. If you learn you have too much of the tablets exposed, your SOL. In my option, throw the floater with the kit out and order a good one, they are pretty cheap..You will also need measuring equipment, the kit does not come with anything for measuring any of the chemicals.. this is solved by a simple trip to the dollar store though. Also invest in a actual testing kit, after doing so, discovered the test strips were reading low bromine levels, after testing found mine were actually quite high. And the strips indicated my Ph was good, however the chemical kit showed they were in fact HIGH

Instructions are incomplete and inaccurate and refer to products not in the kit
Kit has 2x of PH up and PH down, which you only need in minuscule quantities, no Alkalinity up, which you need straight away and the instructions say to add but is not in the kit, and not enough Broma-start.I believe you can just using Baking Soda as Alkalinity up, but the kit doesn't explain this.

Incomplete kit with terrible instructions
The instructions refer to chemicals that aren't in the bucket. Specifically, in the "Spa Start-Up, Balance the Water" section it says it use "Alkalinity Up" to adjust the total alkalinity to the 80-120 range, but there is no "Alkalinity Up" chemical. It also refers to "Spa Increase" and "Spa Decrease" for PH adjustment. There are no chemicals labeled as such (there *is* PH up and PH Down which is probably new labeling for the 'increase/decrease' chemicals). Also referenced in the instructions and not included in the kit: "PH Magic".The bucket itself does not list 'Alkalinity Up' either. It lists (and these are all in the bucket): Activate Brominiating Tablets (only 3oz by the way, a very small volume of this chemical) Broma-Start Protect Plus Foam Out Spa Clarifier Ph Up Ph Down Natural Clean enzyme clarifier Test StripsI did some research on what chemical "Alkalinity Up" actually is, and it's Sodium Bicarbonate (also known as Baking Soda). So you could use Baking Soda instead (it's likely cheaper at the grocery store than the version sold as a pool chemical!).My other complaint is that the instructions reference "following the directions printed on the [brominator] floater label". There are no instructions on the floater, which appears to connect to the brominating tablet storage bottle itself. That container (which has little indents that would see to connect to the floater somehow) says to use the chemical with "a suitable feeder". It's entirely unclear how this floater+bottle would actually act as a feeder unless you're meant to drill holes in the bottle (??).So with this "Deluxe" kit I'll need to add a necessary chemical referenced early in the instructions, and purchase more Bromine tablets, and add a proper bromine feeder. The products and packaging themselves seem high quality (except for the feeder), shipping was fast, but the kit just isn't a complete kit and the instructions seem to be for a different set of products.

This was the perfect kit has everything I needed to start up my spa. Glad I got this or I wouldn't have known what to get or what I needed. My water in the spa is crystal clear LOVE it!!!

Not the best “kit”, since you need to purchase additional supplies ( Alkalinity up )
They need to be more clear on what’s included. No Alkalinity up, which is needed, and not enough Broma-start.
