These things are great for hydroponic use
I own a TekLite (top of the line) as well as 3 of these cheaper Sunblaze units, my oldest Sun Blaze is around 3 years old (no problems). These things are built really well, and I can tell you that spending any more than this on other/better 2ft fixtures is a waste. The new ones are a little bigger (wider, bulbs spread a little farther apart, slightly better beam pattern) than my 3yr old one, but they work just as well. I use these for 10x20 trays and they work great! Low cost of ownership (especially with the new included sun systems spectralux bulbs), and run really well. Hydrofarm is nice for HID, but for T5 stick with sunlight supply stuff

Really bright! Lightweight
This is great. Its very lightweight, so no buckling of your tent poles. It puts out way less heat than High Pressure Sodium, or Metal Halide. More Similar to CFL bulbs. Has several louvers to dissipate any heat that it does give off. I can touch these bulbs when they are on , but not the hps, or mh. The power cord is very long, which is great for any purpose. Also you can daisy chain multiple lights together, or plug your fans into them, or another timer, with another light. I think you can have up to 8 of these on 1 cord. Though i'm not sure. There was 1 con. It was advertised to be able to switch both 2, or the 4 bulbs on independently, which would have been very cool and use full. But the one that was sent to me, only has a switch that turns on all 4 bulbs at once. There is no independent switch that goes from OFF/2BULBS/4BULBS. No it was not Gangnam style, it was only switch 4BULBS on style. so I was kind of sad when I couldn't switch them back n forth from 2 bulbs, to 4 bulbs, then off.But other than that they are great HO t5's. These are not the VHO's like solarflare, and solarwind. But do work great for keeping the heat down in your areas. They do bury my cheap light meter's needle, so they definitely are putting out the Lumens. This is about the same as the other ones in it's class. The Hydrofarms t5's work great too.

excellent
excellent, exactly what I was looking for. In case you are installing it in a tight location, be aware that the plugs are standard and not angled space savers so if you are looking to daisy chain in a tight space, be aware. Also, these things throw off a lot of heat, but that is to be expected.

An excellent T5 setup
No problems with shipping time and product was carefully packaged thus arriving without any damage. The rows of 6500K included bulbs are evenly spaced and the reflector, though it appeared to arrive with some relatively minor scratches out of the box, makes the light all the more usefully dispersed. Though I can't say I would use this for very large blooming vegetable/fruit plants in latter stages of growth, the very cool running fixture is perfect for starting of seeds and maintaining good growth of younger "large" plants even like tomato or pepper. The daisy chain plug on the side of the fixture is an extremely useful feature for good electric cord management. My only "gripe" is the long flexible wire hangers which are permanently attached to the fixture top. Though they support the weight of the fixture perfectly, in the event of damage, they wouldn't be too fun to replace or repair. Shorter rigid "hooks" or even hook attachment holes might have been more useful. An excellent buy. Highly recommended.

quick and easy to use
no problems at all. Unpacked it, set it up, and plugged it in. Expect it to last a long time but will buy another when the time comes.

Lights work as discribed I took a star off since the fixture wasn't counter balanced for the ballast weight.
