Biochem 100% Whey Protein "Vanilla" Single Serving Packs 30.6 Grams, 10-Count

This is not my normal brand, but the only one I could find that came in single serve packets. It makes it easier to travel by car and more so by air. I didn't try it before we went, but noticed they seemed like they had a ton of powder in each packet for only 20 grams of protein....I mixed it up...and lets face it...they all taste pretty icky...WE ALL KNOW THIS......but wow...this one was so thick and the thought of adding more water to thin it out meant drinking more of it. WAY too sweet....the ever so present taste of the protein was stronger than most...and I am a vanilla snob...its my favorite flavor...I know good vanilla...this fell short. This makes me sad as it was convenient. If they came out with an unflavored one I would be willing to try it and give a fair review...it might have just been this flavor (but I love vanilla) I really really wanted to love it...but I tried it twice...and couldn't finish it.

When I'm home and have access to an actual counter on which to prepare food, I prefer buying in larger containers since it's cheaper. Individual measured packs like this come in handy when I'm out in the sticks doing military training and need to be able to pack light and not be bothered with measuring and preparation. A pack of whey protein and a bit of whole milk powder makes for a nice morning mix and a few days' worth of both can be crammed in a pocket without getting in the way of other gear or giving me any noticeable extra weight to haul around.

I have used this product in the past and it is very good. I like to use it in my shakes with frozen fruit and I know I am having a healthy "meal."

I haven't used many of the packets because I dislike the taste.That said, the packaging makes the product easy to carry with you if you need access to shakes but can't carry around a can of mix.

I love this whey protein! It is all-natural and has a lovely sweet vanilla flavor. The packets make it so convenient! I recently brought a couple packet with me on a trip, and I always keep a packet in my gym bag. I much prefer the vanilla to chocolate.

This is a great tasting shake mix. Individual servings makes it great for me to take to work.
