Mine were out of alignment and wouldn't completely secure my Nikon prostaff under .308 recoil. After 40 rounds the scope slipped about a cm. No wonder I couldn't find a consistent zero!Unless you plan on shooting rimfire I recommend you spend the extra $20 for a higher quality set. You'll likely end up eating it on wasted time and bullets down range of you don't.Since i have them already I'm going to try and get them to work. I'll report again the results after lapping and applying thread locker to the rings.

Exactly what I needed to fit a new Nikon prostaff to an older Savage 710 .270. The older rifles tend to have scope bases that are wider apart, likely due to scopes from that time period being longer, receivers and actions possibly being longer, etc. Docked a star due to quality but for the price I wasn't expecting Burris rings. For those who need to shorten or lengthen the eye relief on their scope or those who have scope bases that are far apart you can't go wrong with these rings, especially for the price.

I thought I would give these a try on one of my rim fires as they seem like an attractive value for the price. The first time they shipped me the sport utility rings with no offset. No big deal I just put in an exchange for the proper item, and received the incorrect rings again! I now have two of these things to ship back. Not going to try to order again, so I can't really ascertain the product.

Cross bolts are non-standard diameter (.114") so they don't fit the Picatinny slots which are .205" wide. This means you have a lot of potential for your scope to move forward and backward under recoil. Also, as far as the height, these rings will place the bottom of the scope tube .362" above the surface of the Picatinny rail.

I ordered two sets of these rings. One set was missing the allen wrench from the packaging upon arrival. One set was not manufactured properly as they would not hold tight to the bases and allowed the scope to cant to the right during firing. The other set was machined properly and worked well.EDIT: Customer service was awesome in getting me a replacement set even though I was one day outside of the return window.

Used them on a Savage Axis 7mm-08 with a Nikon BDL scope 3 x 9(left handed gun). Fit perfect with the bases. Needed the extension ring because the nikon scope does not have an extended tube. Sighted in at 100 yards in the 3" circle.

Center Screw seems smaller than other brands, looks like it would snap if over tighten. The main ring seems not to grab the rail like the offset one. I've tried flipping the lug around but makes it worst. In the end I didn't feel comfortable that it would hold my expensive scope, so in the recyclable bin they went.

Worked great. Now I can adjust the eye relief on my scope without having to move my head around.
