Bought for a Christmas present. Box lid was not crisp when I received it, but I didn't think much of it and wrapped it. When we opened it one of the spoons was broken in half right at the handle. I let Samsali know and right away they sent out a complete new set. I have to say they seem like a company that is really interested in standing behind their product. That said I still question if the material is thick enough in critical points. They told me that they had only had one other broken one reported. So time will tell. I would have given them 5 stars if I hadn't seen the broken spoon, and I would have given them three or less if they weren't so responsive when there was an issue.

It took me a little getting used to, but now that I have actually learned out to use them they actually work quite well. They do take up room in your drawer given their shape but their design makes them functional. They stand flat but raised from the counter so sauce does not get all over. Nice thinking.

To be perfectly honest, I am moving into my first apartment after college and was looking for a set of Cooking Utensils that would get the job done. I did receive these a couple days ago, and have been using them ever since. They are amazing, they are sturdy and heavy (just the right amount, doesn't feel cheap).I have been a passionate cook for about 4 years now, and while I like to splurge on kitchen items here and there, I really didn't want to go the extra mile with the kitchen utensils. However, after reading a couple reviews below me, and the great price, I thought id give them a try. I can honestly say if you are in the need for good, quality utensils, then these are a perfect choice.Samsali is a small business (for now), and their customer service is wonderful. I have had 3 emails from the owner checking in on how everything was working, if I had received the items. I am not actually into leaving reviews, but this got me to do it. Customer service goes a long way, and this group has it down.I would 100% buy these again.

Ordered for expensive non-stick pans from *Cough* alon (which are absolutely terrible BTW). These utensils are sturdy and will not damage non-stick pans. I deducted two stars because the weight is so far distributed towards the handles that they will flip out of cookware or serving trays if you try to leave them hanging on the side (they have flanges to keep them from falling in, but that's unnecessary because of the uneven weight).

Great utensils! When I first saw this set I was skeptical about the size-thought they looked kind of small-in reality the utensils are a great size (may even be a tad big on some of the items-strainer spoon primarily-but I was using it in one of my smaller pots so it's an issue based on relativity). The utensils are a nice weight and I love the built in 'stand'. That was one of the main features I was looking for in my next utensil set. I like the pieces that come in this set-seems pretty complete for my cooking needs. The one thing to note is that if you store these utensils in a drawer, as I do, they will take up a lot of space. I had to alternate handle positions and stack a little-if this is a potential issue for you I suggest you take some measurements (width and depth of drawer) to see what storage constraints you will have (if any). The spatula is thinner than the one I was using which is nice-makes it easier to get underneath items. Overall I am happy with this set so far.

I don't normally leave reviews at all. But upon request, I will give an honest review.An honest review where I'll give five stars. Honestly, I have no real cons about what I have received. I needed a set of beginning cooking utensils for my big first move, and while I've found this set is missing one utensil I would have liked to have in a beginning set (a cooking fork to be specific), it's still a great standard set for my budget... or for anyone's budget starting out, really. The mixer especially is rather nice--I don't have an electric mixer, so I was mixing cake batter by hand, and it did the job. Not sure I really need an electric mixer at this rate, for now.So--so far, everything in this set has done it's job working with heat from a gas top stove. Obviously you aren't going to set it right in flames, but it hasn't melted while doing simple tasks like flipping eggs in a pan. It would be horrifyingly bad if it did.

So when I first look I thought they were kind of cute little flimsy but cute perfect for the furnished rental that I'm putting them in. Upon washing them I noticed that there was a variance of color some of the green was lighter one look like it was just not even part of the set. Then after washing them I noticed black streak started to appear Giving them an unattractive dirty look. I would return them but I have someone moving into the efficiency tomorrow so I guess I'll have to deal with it

Received these cooking utensils yesterday and put them to use immediately - had spaghetti last night and was able to use the ladle and spaghetti server. They are well made, balanced, and the quality of the materials probably cannot be matched at this price point. I had a set of Calphalon nylon utensils before that cost 3 times as much as these, but began showing wear and tear plus color fading inside of one year. Out of the box it is clear to see the Samsali utensils are made to last and the company's 100% unconditional guarantee leads me to believe I'll be using them for a long time. I really like the gray/lime color - a departure from the normal array of colors one finds in nylon utensils. These will not only be a welcome addition to my cooking utensil collection, but a stylish visual compliment to my kitchen top as well.
