I just received this item today and was amazed at how beautiful and well-made these blocks are! They are very smooth, have plenty of magnetic attraction and will work well with other similar toys. The light and dark tones of the natural woods are amazing. I plan to mix various types of these toys as well as create some of my own to provide my granddaughter toys that will spark her imagination (and mine). I am so pleased with this purchase I am ordering a second set.Second order update:I ordered a second set for my granddaughter because I was so pleased with the quality of the first set. I found that I could not determine a polarity in these blocks. I tested them and found they attracted either polarity from a fixed polarity set. This was unexpected but I found a review from another purchaser of a different type of magnetic toy. This customer stated:“The good thing about XXXX toy is that the magnet is in its own chamber and can move around to use any polarity needed. You’re not limited on how to build which is GREAT for kids.”I then listened closely as I switched polarity of the second piece and I could hear the magnet realigning in these blocks. I think that makes these blocks even better—a great feature!Regarding the weakness of the magnets some other customers noted I have two observations.1. When I was a child our blocks had no magnets. We stacked them as best we could. Yes, they fell over. . . especially so when my younger brother would violate our “weapons of mass destruction treaty” and wipe out our structures on both side of the DMZ. It was great fun. These magnetic toy blocks are not supposed to act as if they are glued together. I found their magnetism effective but understandably others may not. . . So. . .2. Without getting too technical, it is possible to construct a short, extra wooden ring or square with a stronger magnet glued inside to amp up the magnetic attraction--especially easy since these blocks are not polarity-challenged. (As always, make sure the item is safe and supervise the young ones.) This can be a fun project to teach some science and mechanical skills to the children as they are growing up.

My grandchildren love to play with magnetic wooden blocks. These are awesome--well-made and unique. The balls and cylinders are very cool. The kids go to this toy almost immediately at arriving at Grandma & Grandpa's house!

This wooden blocks is very special because it has magnetic inside. It is very easy to shape with. The player can make many adorable shape based on the basic wooden structure. The other reason why I love it so much is that the wooden has very clean and safe surface. There are no any sharp pieces. You don't need to worry your kids safe. My little brother love it.

Good quality and many shapes to build out of the pieces. Kids love playing for hours.

My boys love these magnetic wooden blocks. They play with them for hours at a time. They are good quality. I have these and tegu blocks. The only difference is the magnets is exposed.

These blocks are great. The 18 months olds like them a lot and play with them daily. They are easy for them to put together and come up with something different every time they play as they learn. Highly recommend.

Children 18mo, 3 yrs old and 4 yrs old all 3 loved them . Able to use their imagination to make different figures. Going to buy again for Christmas.

I looked at these for a long time before they went down to an irresistible price. They are much h lower quality than our other brands of wooden magnet blocks. They have plastic parts,, and exposed glue on the joints. That being said, the shapes are unique, and we enjoy the flipping magnets inside of most of the pieces.
