Preparation is key
I'm really pleased with how these came out, overall, but a couple of things to keep in mind:1. Order an extra box of tiles. They're slightly smaller than 10X10 and with such a specific pattern, you can't expect to use half a tile in one spot and the other half of the tile somewhere else without messing up the pattern.2. They will rip/stretch if you pull them off to quickly. I had a heck of a time putting the first few up because I didn't take the time to mark the walls. When I pulled them off too quickly, a few of the tiles stretched and one ripped.3. MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE! Your counters naturally become less level over time so the best thing to do is measure a little less than 10 inches up from your counter on both ends of where you want to cover. Then use a chalk line to make your straight guide line. It also helps to use a square to measure where each tile will end; this will help you guide where to put the corners. When cutting out for outlets, measure from where the pattern stops/starts on one tile from the next; you cannot use the edges of the tiles as your guide or you'll always be off when you cut.4. Take your time. Really match up the grout lines from one tile to the next to keep things even and make sure everything stays straight. It's easy to get gaps between the tiles if you don't overlap them properly.5. Don't peel the whole backing off when placing. Just peel the side or corner off, get lined up, pull the rest off and then smooth out on the wall. That way, if you have to pull the tile off to reposition, it's a lot easier.

It's worth spending a little more for much better quality.
I used a different brand of these peel and stick tiles in my kitchen and absolutely loved them. I picked up a couple of packs of these from a bin store figuring they would be similar quality. They are not. I needed one more pack to complete the room so I ordered one, and it was no better.I washed and prepped the walls according to all the instructions I've ever seen (even had a fan pointed into the bathroom to keep humidity down while we were putting them up) and still, within a day or two they had already started peeling at the seams. Even securing the edges with double stick mounting tape didn't work along the ceiling, so I had to nail a piece of trim up to hold it down. They also claim to be removable, but just peeling it back enough to put the double-sided mounting tape showed that they definitely repealing the paint off the wall in the places they actually stuck.

Measure and Cut Properly
The media could not be loaded. Update:BUY ADHESIVE!!! After months of being up they are al starting to fall down. I’m gonna go buy some adhesive spray to put behind the tiles and hopefully it holds! I spent $200 total for all these tiles praying the adhesive will make it stay out! Everyday I’m having to push them to the wall back in placeThe tiles look amazing. They are kind of a hassle to put up. Be sure to measure and cut correctly. I ordered one extra l that arrived today that I’ll put up this weekend. In all for what’s up there now it’ll be 2 1/2 boxes. It took me almost three hours to put what’s up there now. If you measure and cut properly once you get a system going easy peasy after that.! They did raise the price from $32.99 to now $49.99 which I think is ridiculous but hey I needed it. Overall satisfied with the look of it all.UPDATE 3: Spray adhesive did not work. After spraying adhesive spray the tiles start falling down again a week later. I bought “liquid nails” and it worked! Watched a YouTube video and they suggested the product. It’s been 3 weeks and still sticking just fine. I will say I’m the YouTube video she mentioned if u are planning to remove tiles off wall don’t use liquid nails

Tiles are 9.75 " not 10
Very sticky and can't be reapplied or moved. Place them carefully..when I tried to adjust one, it pulled the drywall off. Very pretty and brightened up the kitchen.

Great for the money!
Strong PVC plastic smell.Left outside covered in baking soda for 8 hours to absorb smell. Also smelled a little when removing backing, but once adhered well, no smell. You just need a level or a yardstick to make sure that you're staying level along the base of the counter. Each panel overlaps by two and a half inches of little notches. Easiest working left to right. You can pull back and reposition. I found it easiest to cut off the extra tiny strip of junk plastic off the bottom and backing from bottom 5 inch piece, so border piece can be lined up along base with the top 5 inch piece. Pull back and cut off backing from first 3 inches of the backing at first, position it, then slowly pull the backing off and rub in grout lines left the right to adhere the rest of it along the wall. Looks Great! Buying again! I cut the panels in half laterally, Hey is the largest strip at the top and did a 5-in border along the base of my counter. Just enough decoration not too busy. Works well with an almond kitchen. Durable. Test piece I bought years ago was still intacted.

Relatively easy to install yourself
I installed this in my kitchen after a remodel by professionals updated my cupboards. I was left with the backsplash section which had layers of things stuck to the wall. The prep took me a couple of weeks and I installed each side of the kitchen backsplash in 2-3 hours after that. Going around the switches and plugs was a little tricky. You can easily cut the squares with a utility knife for the holes you need. However, in older houses, the walls aren't all even and things don't line up nicely, so I ended up having to piece together in some spots. Which worked. I was able to fill in all the problem areas. Buy extra if you have an older house because you will screw up a few times and need more than you think. But the finished product for the fact I did it myself, and didn't spend a lot is great.

Not the same color as pictured at all
Completely different color than what is pictured. Olive green tint. Picture shows 2 packages, the color I received and the backside showing the color I assumed I was getting. So disappointed.
