These clips do hold my hair in hot rollers. My hair is fairly long (below my shoulders) so, by the time the roller is all the way to my scalp, there is a good bit of hair on the already heavy rollers. I've used these clips 6 or 8 times now and none have broken. I find them easy to open all the way. I still wear a bonnet over the rollers as I typically leave my hair in rollers for a few hours and the security of the bonnet allows me to go about my normal chores without the rollers falling out. The bonnet is just added security because I think the rollers would stay put if I wasn't moving around to do my chores.

I've used these type clips for over 30 years with my hot rollers. They are still going strong; I just needed a few extra as I have long hair now. These springs are strong! They are great for hot curlers or any other hot quick set. They're very strong and have lots of tines and do not slip out.

These are SO, SO superior to the metal things that come with hot rollers! Far easier to use & you don’t have to fiddle with the si3, they all fit all sizes of hot curlers. I also use these to put my hair up.

This is what I was looking for BUT they are cheaply made. Flimsy. I will not be surprised if they start breaking soon.
