POLYTRANS Hot Tub Spa Mineral Sticks for Hot Tub and Spa

I have't installed the product yet, so my review is based on PolyTrans customer service. Interesting to note that the contact number given goes to one person who doesn't identify himself as having anything to do with PolyTrans. I double-checked their website and the only contact info given is the same number on the manual so not a typo. I've called three times without reaching a live person. I get a voicemail promising to return my call, but so far that has not happened. If this product works as described, fine, but God help you if you ever have a situation whereby you need to contact the manufacturer. Were these people sleeping in their business classes when customer service was discussed?

I put in the hot tub and it fits. I don't know how to test or verify that it's working to sanitize, but it definitely is a thing that is in my hot tub.

I've been using these sticks for awhile now and I have found that they vary from one manufacturer to another. These don't seem to work as well or last as long as stated in description. I won't be playing stick roulette anymore, I'm going back to liquids or powders.

good that I don't use Bromine any longer. Spa mechanism should last longer. And well, NO MORE BROMINE ODOR. All do is on occasion after heavy use is to use a bit of an oxygen shock.

I buy these because they are the same as the name brand for a lot less money. Have seen no difference in effectiveness.

I have used these for two years now...although they clean nicely I still add chlorine periodically just to keep the hot tub water crystal clear.

These are just like the more expensive brand. Since I just started using them, I am assuming they work as well. If not, I will update. As for appearance, they look of good quality and it is nice that the length is adustible to fit the filter arra of my soa.

This is too small for HotSpring Tempo Spa and got stuck in the bottom of the filter tube. Took me 2 hours to get it out and was a huge pain!
