This is a basic water shoe. It is comfortable, looks nice, and is reasonably priced. However, it has one benefit over other pairs I have owned. The drain holes in the sole are quite a bit smaller than 3 other pairs I have owned. This allows water to drain but does not tend to pick up big rocks or gravel. My other pairs would get rocks up to a half inch stuck in the holes and become painful to walk in. I'd have to stop and remove them. These do not seem to have that problem. A major plus for me.

- The foot opening appears to be small by design to keep the shoe from dislodging in surf waters.... I did use a shoe-horn to get them on but, once my foot fit into the shoe they were comfortable to wear all day long on the beach without any issues...- Order this shoe a full size larger than you normally would wear so you won't need to return a pair that was to small like I had to do.

I purchased these shoes for use as deck shoes for a sailing race. They appeared light, with good drainage in wet conditions, and that they would provide adequate grip. I tried them on at home, and then put them on while on the boat. I was disappointed that when I pulled the adjustable elastic cords tight, on of the black tabs pulled off! I tied a "stopper knot" in that elastic cord, and used caution when tightening the cords on the other shoe. They were then on for the roughly 48 hrs. of the race. I never took them off. They provided good grip, drained well, dried quickly, and functioned like far more expensive sailing footwear.The bottom line: Other than the initial disappointment of the tab pulling off, these inexpensive shoes exceeded my expectations.

The lightweight fit is really good. Will have to wait until our cruise to see how durable they are and how well they hold up when walking on river beds and sand.

I bought to wear at the beach in Mexico, I ended up wearing them all week. The grip on the bottom was good around the pool and was great on hikes through the jungle. They do get a bit of sand in them at the beach but that is to be expected. Arch support was better than expected.I tried several others and these were by far the best, even compared to others that cost 3x the price.

I’ve purchased many varieties of this product type. These are among the best if they prove to be durable. They are comfortable and very light. I would definitely buy another pair.

If you were looking for a shoe to wear from time to time on a vacation, this is it. We wore these all day, and by the end it wasn't the most comfortable, but we weren't walking around wondering when we got to take them off.

I need pool shoes to save my feet at indoor pool exercise. I've tried many different brands over the years and these fit well and the sole and mesh last longer than any of the others I've used.
