I thought this was a kit to make your own glow stick
the name of the kit is misleading you are not truly making your won glow stick, but are putting glow in he dark powder in a tube with a black light LED. The above being said, it's still pretty cool and out 10 year old enjoyed it, and you can reuse it over and over, which makes it better then a true glow stick

too bad there is only one packet of it
This product is ok. It gives you the Geek & Co. package of glow to make one bottle of it and you use household items to make other bottles of glow stick bottles. The Geek & Co. is the brightest, too bad there is only one packet of it. It is a one time use so make sure you don't go out and purchase large sizes of household items that will have to be stored.

Neat!
My sons really enjoyed this.My only complaints would be that it would be helpful to buyers to know what exactly is in the kids and how many glow sticks, you can create with what colors.

Doesn't really "glow" only with the light provided and you ...
Doesn't really "glow" only with the light provided and you can only use it on one stick at a time

Disappointing: most items you need are not included
The list of what YOU have to supply is longer than the list of items included in the box. How is this a "kit" if I'm using things I already have? What you are really purchasing is the instructions (which I probably could have gotten free by googling it). Disappointed.

Three Stars
Product was good but the light burnt out on the stick not long after 'turning' on.

Good for kids interested in science and building
This was a birthday gift for my 13 year old grandson who likes science and building things. I think it was a hit!
