Great for beginners
I’ve researched many workout books and apps but this is really great!

Good if you can access a gym
While there were a lot I of modifications for exercises, you will still need a gym for many of the exercises. I also would have liked more details about diet and some of the exercises. It's a good book, if you are not an absolute beginner like I am. I thought it would be more graduated from beginner to expert, not that the book description necessarily said so. It did show me some exercises I didn't know existed and actually look fun.

Lots of great information
Well written and organised. Erin really knows the topic and lives the lifestyle. The format is excellent and stands out from most bodybuilding books.

WOW
OK so WOW This book is so awesome. It has pictures of every single training exercise, step by step descriptions on how to do the exercise, AND a variation alternative way to do the exercise as well as tips and dos and don'ts . It has a section for picking a proper work out for YOU. Do you want to build muscle, maintain it or lean out? THEN, it lists different programs for your goals and what exercises to do, and how many reps etc. Once you pick your workout...look at the top of the page and it has each recommended exercise referenced by it's page number!! This book thought of everything! I am not one for a bunch of chapters on the science of it all or listing out 25 meal plans...this book gets straight to the point. The first 30 pages contains information and tips on training basics and I read every page because it is precise and to the dang point! I love this book! It is a sturdy (important as this will become my muscle building go to reference book) jam packed book with all of the information I need to get where I want to go. And if you are wondering, I am female and use to train for novice competitions back in my college days. This book contains many, many weight training moves I would have never thought of to do from my own home gym. I hope this review helps someone else to "go for it", buy it and be damn happy they did. :)

Just wow
Started using the workout guide on Monday. Thinking I was in pretty good shape before starting. It’s Wednesday and I can’t walk with saying a little prayer first. (My whole body is sore) whatever I was doing before, did not prepare me for the challenges I’m going to endure. But I’m ready and willing
