While it does flash more or less like a true strobe (unlike the LED ones)
While it does flash more or less like a true strobe (unlike the LED ones), unfortunately, it flashes *less than* once a second, maybe 1.33 seconds. That amount of time is hard to measure, but it flashes slower than the second hand on my watch. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it does flash. Joe's review of 100 flashes per minute is not valid in mine.

STOBE LIGHT TEST
I BOUGHT 2 TO TEST FOR THE APPLICATION I WANTED TO USE ON. ONE LASTED ABOUT 3 WEEKS, THE OTHER IS STILL WORKING. I JUST WISH IT FLASHED WITH LESS TIME BETWEEN FLASHES. I AM USING THIS OUTSIDE IN ALL KINDS OF WEATHER ,SO FAR IT IS HOLDING UP OK

Good for the price
Could flash brighter and more often, but it works fine. It was the only one that I could find, so it serves the purpose and it arrived quickly.
