N Is for Natural State: An Arkansas Alphabet (Discover America State by State) Hardcover – November 1, 2003

I loved the pictures the rhymes and all the extra info. My students enjoyed getting a closer look at this book after I read it to the class. I even learned a couple of things I didn't already know and I'm from Arkansas.

Excellent book: drawings are magnificent, has short read poetic lines and information expanded on side of each page. High quality literature. We use it at Arkansas State University for Children's Lit

I have been looking for books for some kids I know and loved the “B is for Bluegrass.” Thought this would be fun, but it seemed a bit dry at times and interesting at other times. May be given to an older child.

I collect the alphabet books from each state I visit!

This was something the wife ordered. She was so pleased with the book she took it right to school. She said the post said like new, she thought it was new.

I bought this book to help prepare my 2-year-old nephew for this first airplane ride/trip to Arkansas in mid-July. He's totally into books so it was fun for his parents and me to read this book to him. Then during the trip, he spontaneously made references to things he heard in the book!The book is wordy so we had to "summarize" some of the concepts to meet his understanding abilities. Great buy!
