Worth it!
I had been putting off replacing my digitizer and I finally did it. It was a pretty easy process, directions were included. My screen had shattered don’t was a bit of a bear to remove the old one. The tools that came with the product are pretty light. I had better luck using the flat screw driver that came with it to get in under the screen to get started. It could be I had to do that because my screen was so broken. If the screen wasn’t shattered and just not working, swapping them would have been a different experience. When replacing make sure you test the screen responsiveness over the whole screen. I tested that I could unlock it and and power down but when I got done the lower two rows didn’t work. Luckily I hadn’t pressed the screen down and was able to pull it back up to try to reseat the ribbon cables which fix it. I found online if you make your icons jiggle and grab one and try to drag it all over the screen, to all four corners, that’s the best way to check the whole screen is working. The directions don’t mention that their is a plastic film on the under side of the screen. I almost didn’t take it off because it didn't say to, I thought it might just be the way the back of it was held together, but both the back and front have protective covers.I was worried about cheap/bad adhesion. I found online the suggestion of heating the new screen to soften the tape just like you do to remove it. I heated it back up and turned it upside down and stacked a bunch of books on it for the night. Makes sense and seems like a good idea to do.When the screen is not on you can see a bunch of horizontal lines, maybe every 1/4”. At first I was disappointed but when the screen is on you can’t see them unless the light is hitting it just right, but really its a non-issue.Over all very happy so far. It was a reasonable price to bring an older iPad back to life.

No real issues here
After reading reviews, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one. The digitizer on the iPad I was working on was shattered, and removed when I placed the order. It arrived promptly on time, and looked good. Opening it and examining the home button, made me want to go with it as it looked identical to the original. The only real issue I had was plugging in the ribbon cable for the home button, it was much harder to slide in than the original. I got it in with a good set of tweezers and finished the install. So the 2nd issue I ran into is the corner to the left of the home button doesn't fully seat in place. I don't think it's the adhesive's fault, it could be I should have cleaned it off a little better, or formed the digitizers cable a little better. Overall I'm pleased with it as I gave it a 5 star. Adhesive I gave 4 due to that may have been the corner issue I mentioned, and ease of install, in general this is not an easy install so that's kind of a trick rating ;)Update - I bumped it down a star, the adhesive has come off on one side of the digitizer. I can't edit the adhesive rating, but it's definitely lacking.

Works but buy some MatTA B-7000 adhesive to go with it.
This digitizer worked great. Touch worked, home button worked, fit great. However the preinstalled adhesive strips would not stick. I removed all of the old adhesive and cleaned the surface with alcohol before installing the digitizer, but one corner and side kept popping up. So, I used some B-7000 adhesive to hold the screen in place.

Great Replacement for Ipad 4 - IF you are careful
I was torn between ranking this 4 and 5 stars. First: My ipad 4's screen was shattered. Utterly shattered. I could use my device but not without getting glass in my fingers. With this replacement, me ipad looks brand new.THINGS TO KNOW: Videos for install can be found on YouTube. THIS KIT DOES NOT COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS. My spouse and I personally found the youtube video by Fixez to be brief and to the point. YOU WILL NEED OTHER TOOLS THAT ARE NOT IN THE KIT. Here's what we used in addition: - "precision"ish heat source. We used a blow dryer. - tool with a flat edge to separate the old screen - we used a box blade/razor. (there is a tool included for this but it didn't work well for us)- tweezers (optional, useful for attaching ribbon cables)We absolutely loved that the new screen came with the necessary ribbon cables! We did struggle figuring out how to attach the home button ribbon cable as our original was covered in adhesive and tore while removing the old screen, so we found a super helpful video on youtube by iMobileRescue titled "iPad 4 Home Button Flex Cable Replacement." It gives a really good view as to what the attached end of this cable should look like (towards the end of the video).Overall, be very careful and gentle with the replacement, watch videos in advance of the replacement, and this replacement screen can make your ipad look and function as good as new!Sincerely,- A Very Satisfied Customer

Worked Well on my iPad4 Model 1458
The box I received came with (for iPad 4):* 1 Glass digitizer with Home button attached.* 1 plastic Display Bezel. Some reviewer said the kit did not come with the bezel, but my kit came with one.* 3 screw drivers: 1 Phillips, 1 flathead and 1 Torx. The Phillips crew driver was good to remove 4 iPad 4 LCD screen screws.* 2 triangle plastic picks: 1 thick and 1 thin.* 1 suction cup.* 1 cleaning cloth.I have iPad 4, Model 1458, and my kid broke the digitizer. I found the instructions on Youtube to replace the broken one with this KAKUSIGA Glass Digitizer, and my iPad 4 came back to life, just like before it was broken.

Just as I thought everything was going well....
Fitted this screen, test fitted multiple times and everything worked great (or so I thought) my only original quibble was wishing the the cables cam pre bent to make it a bit easier. I took extra time to make sure the cables were bent weighting them down before fitting so the screen doesn't pop up on me.Now After actually going to use it the next day after leaving it weighted down for the screen to stick yesterday I cannot swipe from the very sides of the screen. This doesn't seem like a big issue until you can't get your notification bar or control centre.. and if I get it via the accessibility option I then can't swipe it back up to dismiss it.The seller has since contacted me saying they are going to adjust their packing in hopes to prevent damage in shipment. Hopefully this resolves this issue since everything else about this screen was better than the new one I had from another company. It's the sort of thing that has to be working first time. I would recommend trying the notification panel on top of swiping back and fourth on the home screen before sticking it down to ensure everything works.

Poor quality
I decided to fix my children's ipads which i have done dozens of times before. I bought this kakusiga one for my daughters and one from a different seller for my sons ipad. I fixed my sons ipad and was it working perfectly. I attempted to fix my daughters but this screen would not work I even swapped my sons screen to check that it was not the ipad itself and the other screen worked great. I have now had to buy another one from a different seller in the hope that its better quality than this.
