Kaiser Hand Flour Sifter Patisserie, 21.5 x 11.5 x 21.5 cm

Ne avevo già uno che mi si è rotto dopo anni ed anni di utilizzo. Ne ho comprato uno uguale perché lo trovo comodissimo non solo per la farina ma anche per le molliche di pane che preparo in casa con il pane raffermo; dopoaverlo grattugiato lo passo nel setaccio così da avere delle molliche finissime.

I had a similar style sifter that I used for almost 20 years before it finally broke irreparably. I bake bread 3-4 times a week and I needed to replace it ASAP. The Kaiser sifter is the only one I could find with this type of trigger handle, so I took a chance on it and I'm so glad I did. It sifts quickly and smoothly and is easy to keep clean. I have arthritis in my hands which makes using some kitchen implements painful or difficult, but this sifter does not exacerbate discomfort in my hand at all. The only negative aspect of the sifter is that it is slightly narrower at the top than at the bottom, and this is just narrow enough to make it a little tricky to put a full cup of flour in the sifter without spilling. I have no idea why it is designed like this, but it's a minor problem. I'm tempted to buy a second one to have as a backup, but I suspect this one will outlive me.

Das ist bereits mein 3. Mehlsieb, da die beiden anderen (beide waren Metallsiebe, eines hat aus Altersgründen - ich habe es von meiner Mama "geerbt" -, das andere war einfach schlechte Qualität) ihren Geist aufgegeben haben. Mit diesem hier bin ich sehr zufrieden, ich benutze es seit fast 4 Monaten regelmäßig und es funktioniert noch wie am ersten Tag. Es geht kinderleicht und es ist bisher weder etwas gebrochen noch hat sich etwas verhakt oder ähnliches.

Bei klumpigem Puderzucker ist das Sieb etwas überfordert. Da springen die Klümpchen schon mal in der Küche herum.
