The curved wooden bars make the hammock much safer than without the curve, as you are more cradled and less likely to fall out. It can be difficult for some children and adults to get in and out of a hammock, so this feature both helps (less likely to roll off) and hurts (it might be more difficult to get out if you have limited mobility.) The fabric is comfortable, and without a mesh it keeps you from having elbows or hands go through the mesh as in string hammocks. However, if you are in a hot area the fabric is not as cool as a net hammock would be. Overall, I think it is great for my needs.

I love this hammock. I have only had rope hammocks in the past and will say I prefer them but for a good one they are very pricey. Since I will not use this when our SC temperatures hit in the high 90s I didn’t want to spend too much and for the price this one was a great buy. I like the durability, the curved bar which makes it easy to lay comfortably and I love the neutral color. I am very happy with my purchase

The hammock arrived right on time.The hammock material is made of a heavy duty material. It’s a bit plastic like feeling sort of like an industrial trap. Seems like it will hold up well to rips and most likely won’t rot. Very water resistant. It may be a bit sticky to bare skin on a hot day. No air flow through the material. I think mosquitoes will have a hard time biting through it.My biggest complaint is whoever strung the webbing installed the material so that all the sewn seams are on the side you lay on. If I wanted to untie 36 knots I suppose I could turn it over. It’s sort of like wearing a shirt inside out right now. Most people won’t notice this but as you’re lying on it for long periods of time it’s hard not to think of the dummy that strung it upside down.The string is a soft cotton type material. I guess I was expecting something a bit more weather resistant but so far no issues.I really wish the wooden bamboo supports were one piece rather then being hinged. I could see this being a weak point at sometime in the future but for now it doesn’t seem to be an issue.Overall the curved design is very nice looking and pretty comfortable with a pillow.Im keeping the product despite a few issues. 4 out of 5 stars is the best I’d rate this hammock.

It was easy to put together. The ropes were loose so I wasn't sure what I needed to do but they adjust naturally. The arm is curved which doesn't allow you to wobble as much. Easy to spay with a hose to clean off bird debrit.

It's beautiful and seems like good quality. The spreader bars makes it very flat. When I hang it up high on. the chain then I can't get in it. It bounces me out. When I put the chain down lower, I hit bottom. What am I doing wrong? My hammock stand I believe is for a 13-14ft. hammock.

Very well made! Dries fast! People stop complaining that the wood part starts to look bad. It’s not going to look the same as when you got it once you leave it in the rain all the time. We used ours all summer and it still looks nice, but on super wet and stormy days I would hang it up in my garage. It has been tossed around and twisted in the wind and still held up nicely. Color didn’t fade and it dries quickly. You will love this! My SIL has one too and has had no problems. Get one!

I’ve had this hammock for a little over two months and came out to use it today to find one end had completely unraveled. This is a two person hammock and it’s mostly been me using it by myself with my 3 year old grandson joining me on occasion, so no usage that would explain such damage. I am so bummed because it was SO comfortable!!!
