Great buy, easy to modify, used for 3phase hard drive motor
You will need the schematic for it -- Search for DK_Multi-MotorShieldSchematic.jpgI just wanted direct access to the l293 drivers so I removed the shift register and wired accross, this worked out great. This has to be the TOP shield as they have no pins to allow another shield on top, you can solder them I suppose if you need that. This was definitely worth the $3 I paid, I got my 3 phase hard drive motor running great, I had to put some current limit resitors though otherwise the L293 was getting way too hot. These are darlington drivers vs MOS so they have a higher on resistance and will heat up more since the motor windings were only 2 ohms, I'm sure this works great for other DC motors, but I'm adapting it to something it wasn't meant to be used for.
