I absolutely love this! great for doing moon shots. one con, the little tripod in small and flimsy. for someone that shakes, it makes it challenging when you don't have something at the right level and angle to get those perfect shots. Tips for iPhones: attach the phone mount first, turn your camera on and get the hole to line up without blocking the view first. tighten it as much as you can, then attach the scope. with the camera on and in a well lit area, zoom in on the hole in you camera screen. use the scope focus to set it how you want. you'll have to play around with it if your not familiar with scopes. once you get it focused on something press and hold on your screens to lock the focus. it helps.

This is the second type of handheld device I have purchased. However, the first one was not as clear as this one nor as adjustable. So far I have purchase tripod (travel type) to take on a cruise for table top when sitting in the viewing lounges. My sole purpose for buying this type is for whale watching as well as when doing cross Atlantic viewing to see what I can on those days at sea. From looking birds and other things that are viewable in city environments I see that this unit will work out just fine. (Will update after the Covid-19 travel ban is lifted for cruising and I get back from one.)

You get what you pay for. It works well as a cheap telescope. The attachment for smart phones is worthless, what you get after hassling with it is a blurry little round picture that is useless.

Face it - this is not an expensive monocular but for the money, it is quite nice. Lightweight, compact. I have only just received it so I am not sure about durability. It seems to be well built and sturdy.

Got this to use at Fleet week. Came quick, easy to use and got some great pics of the show including the Blue Angels

I tried to use it when I went Whale watching. I was afraid that I was going to lose my phone.
