I like sushi, so seaweed suits my taste buds
I visited an integrative medical doctor and he advised me to incorporate sea vegetables into my diet, to get a trampoline (for the lymphatic system), to eat organic liver once a week, to consume a natural little salt water in the morning to jump start my body, and to consider the impact of a tongue piercing and my meridians. He also gave me my visceral fat number, my metabolic age, my muscle and bone mass etc. Needless to say this Doctor's visit blew my mind. I like sushi, so seaweed suits my taste buds. They are lightly salted and the coconut isn't that noticeable. I tried a few brands, even other "Natural" brands, but this Seaweed love, brand is the most natural I could find, with the coconut oil rather than the rancid oils that other companies use. This product never smells stale. My mom raps her home made tun in these. I use these to grab sticky rice, or just eat them like chips. They are always a delight to snack on. I have a box at work and a box at home. I don't manage to eat them every day but as a go to healthy snack, I like to have them on hand. I never have any adverse effects in my tummy from eating these either.

Gluten Free Non-GMO? Sold!
I love Seaweed Love. Even before they came out with their olive oil seaweed snack, I've been a fan. And when I thought I couldn't be more impressed, they come out with this! All over the internet there are articles of GMO vs non-GMO foods. And if I can add more time to my life by putting in a little effort, why not? So, honestly, I got this 12 pack expecting to sacrifice flavor for my health. Boy was I wrong. I really can't tell the difference. It might even be better than my all time favorite olive oil (O.O.) version. The one thing I did notice about this though was it folds differently than the OO. What I usually do is eat a pack or two during my daily evening commute from work. I take one out, taco fold it, then bite half as to not poke the corners of my mouth. By the end of the pack I usually have quite a few black flakes on my shirt. But not with this coconut one. I'm not saying its not crispy. It's just a different flaky crispiness you won't understand until you try it. You won't be disappointed. The reason I love this brand of seaweed so much is that they do a very good job in replicating the nutty, savory flavor of traditional Korean style roasted seaweed on a healthier, lighter level. In my opinion brands you find at an Asian market are very oily and salty, and come in manila envelope sized bags. Yet Seaweed Love is perfectly seasoned and the individual packaging makes it my go to snack. I just wish they offered a combination 3 pack :)

Pricey no real flavor
So this is half of the product for the same price as what I normally buy. But I was curious to try nori roasted with coconut oil. It's not as crispy as other roasted seaweeds are, I don't know if the oil takes away some of the bite I am used to, or if they were meant to be soft. The coconut oil doesn't add much flavor, it's a really subtle after taste. If your looking for a melt in your mouth nori snack than this is for you, i prefer the texture of the other brand I buy, plus i literally get double the product for the same cost.

Coconut Seaweed, Multiple Use Trays, & Another Recommendation.......
See Photos~Best Seaweed we've tried!!! I once thought seaweed was gross (unless wrapped up in sushi or mixed into a dish where I couldn't taste it much)! Then I read that it's one of the healthiest things for us (especially women), as it contains all 84 minerals that the body needs (if my memory is serving me correctly, smile).Well, I think it's an acquired taste. Because after forcing it a few times, different flavors, teriyaki, spicy, etc, I acquired it lol. This coconut flavor, however, is by far the best I've tried (and I've tried everything I could find in stores lol)!It doesn't at all taste like coconut, in our opinion, which makes sense since it's just roasted in it. The hint of sea salt is wonderful!! Now this is the kind of seaweed that I can get LOST in. Literally, the first package I opened, I melted piece after piece into my mouth, going into a daze enjoying them. Until they were gone and I was sad.The good news is (LADIES, lol, I may be silly but I am frugal and not wasteful haha), after they are gone, we can still enjoy their packages. These clear little plastic trays that are inside the plastic pouches, are just the right size for lipsticks, chapsticks, most lip glosses, well really, you name it ha! If you are missing a drawer organizer in your bathroom, office, or kitchen junk drawer, these type of little plastic trays may be flimsy..... BUT lol, they rinse out just fine and don't cost a dime, while making fantastic little clear organizers. They work until you get something better (or better than nothing anyway ; )... You can thank me after you decide to try my silly little idea.Lastly, the box they ship in is equally awesome. Lol, yes, really. I uploaded some pictures so you can see what I mean. I also recomment this dee~lish treat because it is equally wonderful, I'll never tire of it, and it has the same great type of box lol. You can find photos there attached to my review (with further explanation of how I use the boxes, lol : ) Product link: Tasty Bite Punjab Eggplant Heat & Eat Entree, 10 Ounce Pouches (Pack of 6) Hope this is helpful to someone! YUM!
I am addicted to roasted seaweed. I only have to say I wish these were organic, but the coconut oil compensates. Just today I saw that Costco's Kirkland brand has a new organic version of their roasted seaweed and was about to purchase it until I saw it was made with canola oil. Boo! So, I will continue to satisfy my addiction with this pleasant-flavored tender option that I get on subscribe and save. Some seaweed is a bit too chewy for me--and others so thin I can barely taste it. This is somehow just the right texture.
