Accessory Rapid Pivot System Monopod Attachment Hardware, Clam

I love this attachment. I have this installed on two different predator rifles and use the stony point bi pod that complements this rifle attachment. I had used this setup for at least 6 or 7 years of predator calling here in Arizona. I hunt predators 30 or more days a year. My bi pod is old and the new bi pods have a more flexible neck right at the attachment point. I do not like that flexible feature and there may be a way to get the older less flexible version. What happens with the new one the rifle weight is sometimes enough to bend that flex point, annoying when resting the rifle on the bipod and it tips to one side or the other. You want it to just stay there till needed. But the reviewed attachment on the old version is spot on. I own and use for other applications Harris and other types of bi pods. This to me is the absolute best setup for predator calling. Easy to change elevation, rotation, rifle position. Easy to carry in the field and quick to snap on and off, pretty quiet snap, and folds for easy carry in my shooting/stadium seat. All that said I would look hard at that flexible portion of the bi pod if thats going to bug you like it does me. I will say that I have a prone bi pod that I was going to use with a dedicated long range rifle, built with a heavier contour barrel and I had that flexing problem with the bi pod and as a consequence I never use it and would not buy it again. I use a Harris for that purpose. I tried taping the flex portion and gluing plastic shims etc. A lighter rifle perhaps not a problem.

Kinda flimsy where it connects to the gun

I have these on all my hunt rifles & ran out, unable to find any more. Thankfully, I found them here on Amazon. I love these quick attach bipod studs. They're quick, convenient and work Great. I'm too old & unsteady to hunt without one...lol

I only needed the gun attachment but got both the rubber extender and attachment. All works great. Couldn't find one anywhere other than amazon.
