I had a somewhat special use case where I needed 6 of these, 3 per fixture, for some outdoor coach lights in an older home. The electrical box was really too small to accommodate a smart switch and yet we needed to get the lights turned on and off on a regular basis. I configured these using a chandelier in the foyer and after a small learning curve they all configured in the LampUX app and I installed them the following day into the fixtures, which were enclosed aluminum. So far the lights have worked flawlessly over the last week. I have zero issues controlling them remotely and although I think internet connectivity is required to schedule them as they don't store their 'program' locally...I am very impressed for $11/bulb. Great point solution for me. One other note, no issues with height and fitting in our fixtures, very comparable to a 'standard' LED candelabra bulb.

I use these in the light fixtures on my front porch. I had to go through the setup process a few times to get the internet connection to work, but they are working flawlessly now. Alexa did not recognize these lights right away, like some other smart devices I have. You have to create a skill first. Not hard, just an extra step I didn't realize I had to do. I know most bulbs this size are the equivalent of 40W, but I'd like to see something like this but in 60W. For the front of your house, the brighter the better. I recommend.

These bulbs were easy enough to set up and deploy into my Alexa ecosystem. I bought these bulbs so when the Ring detected motion, it would turn these bulbs on for 5 minutes, and then turn them off. Same for geofencing. When returning home, turn these on to help illuminate the house. Nice. Unfortunately, these bulbs only lasted me about 4 months. They just stopped lighting, and show offline to the network. I have tried basic reseting of the bulbs and also just leaving them without power for a while (days). No luck. These are nice bulbs as long as they stay alive. Good luck.

I bought these for the lamp part of a ceiling fan. They were a bit challenging to connect, but after a couple trys, got them to work. Love that they can go from warm to daylight and that they are dimmable.

I’ve used this product for several years. When they work, they are great. You can adjust their color and brightness, turn them on and off remotely, schedule their on and off times, etc. However, they need some improvement. First, you cannot link two bulbs together and adjust them as one. It is a hassle to add and set up each bulb on a single light fixture. Second, they keep going offline a lot. At the end, I was unable to connect to them remotely at all and had to use the light switch to turn them on and off as regular lightbulbs. I finally gave up and switched to another brand.

The bulbs are fairly inexpensive for a smart bulb, and overall the features are rather nice. That being said there are a few areas of opportunity for them. Reliability is low - Of the 6 bulbs i bought during December 3 have suffered a failure of some. 1 has burned out, i can see it on the network but it will not light up, and i have checked if the brightness was all the way down. The other two had their wireless adapters fail, on one hand, they turn on and work as regular lightbulbs. Five months in and have a 50% fail rate is sad. They should also consider a different way of showing them in pairing mode, the bright harsh white light flashing from one is bad, but with a few on the same fixture, it can almost like a strobe light, it is super disorienting especially at night.

This is exactly what I needed for my closet! I wanted a chandelier but the previous light fixture was a pull string so there is not light switch for the closet. Once a regular bulb is plugged in it is always on. My brother recommended getting a smart bulb since I could use a smart home device or a smart phone to turn it on and off. We got a Philips Hue from Home Depot but the bulb is $40 and you need the $60 Philips bridge for it to work. This bulb is a fraction of the price and works with just the smartphone! I was worried I may not be able to set it up without a light switch since the instructions say to turn the light on and off 3 times to set up but it totally worked by unscrewing and screwing the bulb back in three times (just enough to disrupt the connection). The app works great! Now I just need to make sure I know where my phone is!

We love these bulbs. We put four into our living room ceiling fan. I was skeptical as to if they would be bright enough to light up our entire living room with high pitches ceilings but they do! They were actually brighter than I expected which is a plus. To install them you have to do one light at a time, then unplug it, screw another one in, activate it and so on then when you are finished plug them all back in. The instructions aren’t specific on that but it wasn’t any trouble once we figured it out. Also when flipping the switch off-on three times it has to be done slowly. Those are the only two things I wanted to share B cause instructions are vague, but they are amazing we couldn’t be more pleased with our new lighting!
