Love these! I bought the green one for my mom for Christmas. Great quality product. She is in the habit of reading the paper in bed. Then letting the newspaper drop to the floor. I suggested she put the city provided recycling bin in her bedroom. But she explained that it was too heavy and large for her to carry it around. This was the perfect solution!! Light weight and just the right size. She loves it. So I just bought her and myself some of these blue ones. (The seller had reduced the price due to the smell, making these an even better value.) And the smell is not that bad. It was gone after a day of airing out.

It works, but airing it out for two weeks really wasn't worth it. It took more like a month to get rid of the smell. I should have spent more and got something that was already aired out. I'd never thought I'd down rate something for smell but this thing a strong mothball odor and it's probably not safe to breath that stuff. I had to put mines in the shed so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting rained on. Other than that, it works just as well you'd expect. It's big enough to hold a basketball, and it's as sturdy as you'd expect cardboard reinforced fabric box to be.

These bins have some kind of coating on the inside to make them easy to wipe clean. They are terrific for caddying clean recyclables from inside the house to the nasty recycling bins outside the house. Especially good for households in neighborhoods without single stream recycling, as they are an easy, affordable way to separate the items. Well worth the price.

There was another review stating the smell with this product is horrendous so I just purchased one to be safe. The smell is absolutely horrendous and in minutes, stinks up the entire surrounding area. I left the box on an open patio for a week, through rain, and the smell is still there. Purchase the green recycling containers which are similar and have no smell at all.

Nice size and attractive enough that we keep it under the counter in our kitchen to collect paper and other dry recyclables. It's fabric and probably wouldn't wipe out easily, so I wouldn't put anything drippy in it.FYI, it had a strong chemical smell when we first started to use it, but that has disappeared over time.

On discount bc of heavy chemical odor, I received them and immediately set them to air out. Two weeks later there is no smell and they are more than adequate. Very firm and sturdy. Beautiful crisp color and logo. Durably made.

Better then expected!Just bought this box to toss newspapers in - the box seems sturdy and well made and the plastic material seems strong and easy to clean.Similar boxes at my local hardware store cost much more!

I got two of these as an add-on item, and like the seller said, it is best to air it out before using. I left mine on the patio for a week, and now they are fine. Great for hauling recyclables to my big bin in the garage.
