Good, solid hardware for the price.
I used these to restore an old Indonesian P Bass to working order. They were an almost perfect fit. The sleeves fit fine in the headstock, but screw holes had to be drilled on the backside. Not a huge problem though. I otherwise love the look, and the function is smooth. A good value for the money.

Perfectly adequate - but be sure to grease them
These are perfectly good tuners. I put them on an Ibanez TMB100 to replace two broken tuners. The holes lined up, not perfectly, but well enough so I didn't need to drill. As far as I can tell the quality appears to be the same as the original. They hold in tune just fine. Note, the gears were bone dry as arrived, so you absolutely MUST grease them or else the teeth will break! I use a tube of white lithium grease. Before putting strings on, add the grease where the sprocket meets the roller and turn the tuners until the grease moves all around the roller. Keep turning until you get a nice smooth action. Only then can you put the strings on.

Adequate for the price!
The machine heads seem fine, but two screws snapped and heads strip-out easy even with pilot holes drilled! Fortunately I had some extra screws!

Excellent Tuners
These are excellent tuning machines. None of them have any slop in the gears and all of the parts are there. Not one screw was missing. Only problem though. They do not fit my '78 Harmony P Base.

They work!
My PJ bass was buzzing....turned out it was a broken peg. Bought these to replace. Pretty easy to install . One wasn’t lining up so I had to drill. No big deal.

NOT good tuning machines.
These tuning machines are of pretty poor quality. There is so much slack in the gears that im surprised they would even hold tune for a short while. I purchased these tuners for a project bass (early '90s Yamaha BB200) on a budget and never even installed them. They arrived as i was leaving to go to my guitar techs shop so i just took them with me. When i arrived and took them out of the package i could tell there was too much play in the gears and it took half a turn on the tuning peg to engage the gear to turn the post. I would not recommend these tuners even for a hobbyist because they would probably render your instrument mostly useless.

Perfect fit
Perfectly fit my Fender Indonesian Precision Squire Bass G tuner that I broke off getting into a van to go to the airport last week. Seems to be well made but time will tell. So far I am very happy with the purchase.

Bought as a replacement for original chrome Musicman Stingray Bass 4 Sub ones. Seem ok. As stated, and not fault of product per se, the screw holes are slightly off from the basses originals. Will likely woodglue toothpick in mis-matched holes and drill new ones adjacent to it.

Installed on an Eminence upright. Fit is fine and appear to be a little better quality that the stock tuners. Excellent value for the $$

I'm really happy with these. I bought a cheap bass off Amazon a while back which I've been pretty happy with, except that the tuning pegs would sometimes slip when I tried to tighten them. After installing these it's solid.

Wanted to go black on my hardware. So happy I did

The screw-holes are *just* off enough to make using the original screw holes unusable. This would be expected if I was using an unusual brand, but these are clearly intended to be used with Fender and compatible, so...
