I bought this item for my Mum as a Christmas present. She has recently had a lovely new kitchen fitted. I thought this would look good in such a modern kitchen. I wanted one that she could pin onto as well as use magnets. The pinboards I looked at were rather "tatty". This one looked as though it would fit the bill.I was thrilled when it came and she absolutely loved it. In fact even my very trendy children thought it was cool and now want one for themselves. Very smart and elegant.

Look, its fab, you can pin stuff to it and attach stuff via the supplied magnets, we use one for paperwork and one for fridge magnets as our fridge is built into a cupboard, so all our travel magnets are on one. It looks neat and smart, and yes it has fixed hanging brackets, but hey get a spirit level. Its the best product I have been able to find.

Brilliant item. Recently purchased a fitted kitchen so could no longer stick magnets on the fridge. So pleased with this magnetic pinboard that I purchased a second one. Comes supplied with small magnets and pins so has a duel role. Easy to fit, solid item and good value for money.

A really lovely modern metallic looking noticeboard - you can use either magnets or pins. I was a little nervous about fixings from a previous review but it was straightforward. My daughter absolutely loves it!

The basic product design is sound for people who want the combined functions of a magnetic and pin board.The board is supplied with sufficient small (powerful) magnets and pins.However,the problems arise when you attempt to fix it to the wall!The board has small mounting brackets screwed to the back but it does not come with any means of securing the board to the wall or any instruction.Picture hooks are not strong enough or suffiently stable. Over a period or 2 weeks Amazon have failed to resolve the issue - apart from ".....return the item".(I can't find a suitable alternative or I would have)I must have sent at least 4 requests using their internal messaging system.As a last resort I've purchased some mirror fixing brackets from B&Q which have "sort of" fixed the problem. It's far from ideal. The board is at a slight angle and I had to modify/bend one of the brackets to fit underneath the board.MORAL - DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOARD UNTIL THE FITTING ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED
