Crafty Mama I started making these after receiving compliments on the puppy I made for my son. The buddy's are beanie babies that have been repurposed. I had an extensive collection LOL so there are a lot of variety in animals. The beads have been removed from the inside and stuffed with polyester plush then sewn closed. Then I attach and reinforce a Pacifier ring, which is not detachable. Please be advised the eyes and nose are beads and may be a choking hazard. The size of the buddy helps the baby find it when the pacifier falls out of their mouth. They feel comfort with the bright colors and soft texture of the buddy. As the baby progresses out of the pacifier it will remain his lovey or friend :).
