I bought this for my electric scooter and it is very comfortable. IT is so nice that it has the strap, it works perfect.

The cushion is not waterproof, as advertised on Amazon. When I received the product, the carton states 'water resistant'. These are 2 different parameters, and it was a disappointment. As I needed a waterproof cushion, I can't really comment on how good the cushion is-- although it does seem sturdy and dense, yet comfortable. I didn't get to speak to someone at the company who could clear things up for me. We missed each other's calls, then he didn't get back to me. But I didn't call a third time, because I kept the cushion anyway. I'm in the process of trying to find a waterproof cover.

I found that most standard cushions, even if they were the proper size, were always sliding either forward or backward on my chair. This made the ride in the chair very uncomfortable and actually dangerous as I was constantly bracing my newly sutured lumbar and sacral spine tense too much preparing for what felt like a fall.. However, this Secure Gel Foam Sea Cushion with Safety Strap was what got me out of bed and onto the chair to exercise as prescribed. The strap added security as it wrapped over the seatback and gave even a tighter feeling. The size is perfect as well, unlike the others that were made like they were fit for a huge man and not a smaller woman. Nothing but 5 stars for this cushion!

I bought for my mom who is in a nursing home. She was beginning to get bedsores from the chair she sits in most of the day. She has been using the cushion for about a week and the bedsores have gotten much better already. The strap keeps the cushion from moving and keeps her from sliding off of it. I totally recommend this product.

My younger sister is unfortunately confined to a wheel chair when she is able to get up at all. She never even mentioned her discomfort to me until one day at a doctors appointment she was in noticeable pain. I purchased this cushion on high recommendations from Amazon reviews. I even tried it out. I am 6 foot and 210 lbs., and it felt great for me even. She loves it and even her therapy staff in the nursing facility were impressed. I can’t help but think it will motivate her to now get out of bed more.

although this said it is a Gel Foam Cushion, I had to wash the outer cover, I was disappointed to discover that the Gel is just a 1/8 in piece of Gel, compared to my last one, witch had a liquid Gel, Cushion, it not as comfortable if I had to buy it again I would say I would not spend more then $50 for it, other wise I would spend $200 or more to buy a quality cushion. Just did not have the money available at the time.

Easy to install and is very comfortable.
