"Where can I find SA profile backlit PBT keycaps?" "You can't".Well, yes, you can. This set meets all of those requirements. For the price ($24.99 when I wrote this) you know they aren't going to be Signature Plastics level of quality. But if you want that level of quality you're not going to find them in SA profile -and- backlit (ie, light from below the key shining through).I bought these knowing they wouldn't be high end keycaps (you can spend -hundreds- for a single set of very high end SA PBT caps). So as long as you're buying these with the same knowledge you'll be happy with what you got. They "feel" light/cheap (most PBT SA caps are relatively heavy). They sound pretty light and pingy. But ... they're cheap. All of that aside, yes, the doubleshot material is also PBT. Which means they are very very easy to dye (iDye Poly). I've been testing a number of the caps I don't need (I'm using an 87 key board) with iDye Poly Yellow, Red and Black dyes to see what I can achieve. The dyes -also- color the inside PBT doubleshot so if you want to dye them you'll need to find a way to mask the inside or deal with losing light transfer. I knew that dying with yellow wouldn't make the keys lighter ... but it does a good job of warming up the orange (not red) color of the keycaps as they arrived. The inside white doubleshot PBT is pretty cloudy white. That means it diffuses the light from the RGB keyboard quite a bit. If you dye them then you may not even be able to see the doubleshot material except when backlit. You can't polish it back down because to do enough to get back to the clear-ish doubleshot color you will polish out enough of the dye on the main color to revert it to base orange/red color (unless you want a 2-tone keycap, which I didn't).Red and Black take VERY quickly to these caps. 10 minutes for complete transition with iDye Poly's accelerator. Probably didn't need the accelerator at all for Black. The orange/red base color is thin enough that the caps show a LOT of light as a glow through the plastic. Which means you get a mushy bleed-through effect when not dyed. Red helps force more of the light through the doubleshot material, so dyeing actually improves the backlit capabilities. Black (no surprise) blocks even more but starts to block too much from the doubleshot material. If the high end cap makers would do some SA profile backlits there would be absolutely no reason for these keys except for price. Someday. It's more expensive but the market adoption of backlighting is definitely to that point. Until then if you want that SA feel but also like backlit caps, this works. My plan is to use epoxy to add mass to the keyap, mask the epoxy inside with hotglue, dye (which will destroy the hotglue but in testing it does a decent job preventing dye from penetrating the epoxy resin for long enough to dye the outside of the caps). Then using a high viscosity paint around the inside edge past the thinner epoxy layer to block light bleeding from the base of the keys. Worth it? No. Works? Yes. With a lot of work. The epoxy adds weight to the cap as well as making them sound much more like very old keys.NOTE: You don't -need- to do all of that. The caps work 100% as they come. But some of us are going for a specific feel :)I gave 3 stars. If the doubleshot material was more transparent (instead of fairly translucent but still too opaque) it would have been +1 star. If the outside material (orange/red) were thicker to block more light and lower the sound pitch when using them it would bring it to 5 stars. Those issues will be there whether modifying the caps or not.

Impressed
***Review update: Although I hate to do it, I have to significantly lower my original rating from a 5 star to 2 star. In my original review I stated that these caps fit extremely tight on the switches (Kailh copper speed switches, which have a standardized MX stem on them). The fact is, they fit far too tight, to the point that you'll most likely damage your switches when trying to remove the caps. I pulled the caps off twice, once to put o-rings on them, and a second time to switch to a different set of caps. These caps pulled many switches out of my hot swap board, which resulted in the plate mount tabs that hold the switches in place being damaged on them, with the tabs either being rounded or sheared off due to the force required to remove the caps. I now have several switches on my board that barely stay in place. These caps are so tight that I'd even worry about soldered in switches. They really are that tight. The risk of damage to switches and even possibly the pcb is too high, almost guaranteed. I have eight other sets of caps that don't have this problem. I'll have to order new switches, a good 25% of my switches are damaged in varying degrees due to these caps.I ended up putting these caps on a board I have at work that's outfitted with Outemu blues. Outemu stems have fairly poor tolerances, they're consistent, but ever so slightly smaller than the standard, to the point that most keycaps fit them loosely. So for Outemu switches, these caps work out pretty well. Outemu stems are too small, and these caps are too tight. So it works there. So my recommendation would be, if you have Outemu switches, or don't plan on ever switching these caps for anything else, then go for it. These caps really do feel amazing, and sound great (even better with double o-rings). But if you have any other brand switch, or change your caps on a regular basis, stay far away from these.***Original review: I got these just to try out SA profile without having to spend a ton, if you've ever looked at SA caps you'll know they go for a considerable amount of money. I'm actually very impressed with these, they're far above what I expected.Pros: They're cheap! And they're very high quality for the price. They're also insanely comfortable to touch, they have an almost luxurious satin feel to them, not like the sandpaper feel that a lot of PBT caps have. These are by far the smoothest feeling PBT caps I've come across. It isn't a glossy smooth finish, but it isn't rough, it's almost like touching silk in plastic form. It's quite simply incredible, and for that alone these caps are worth the purchase. They sound pretty good too, these have a thicker sound compared to the other OEM and Cherry profile PBT switches I have. I tried out o-rings on one switch just to see how it sounds, and doubling up the o-rings makes these scary quiet, by far the quietest caps I've used.Cons: This is nitpicking, but they don't have the best backlight shine through. Some colors come through great, but others are slightly tinted. White comes through as faint blue, yellow comes through as a neon green. Some brightness is lost due to the height of the profile, but that's to be expected. The only true con I have is the fitment on switches is TIGHT. I put these on my GMMK Compact that has Kailh speed copper switches, and some of the caps were very tight when putting them on. So tight in fact that when I had to move a cap because I put it on the wrong switch, it actually pulled the switch out of the board. I'm sure they'll break in if you're like me and you switch caps regularly, but that is something to take note of. If I had the ability I'd knock off half a star for that.I'll definitely order more of these in different colors, they're well worth the money.

look great but feel a bit weird
first this is first this price is great, to be able to but sa profle kwy caps at this price is a steal.(the keyboard i am using them on is a fnactic miniSTREAK with cherry reds)(some more information : i am switching form the hyperx pudding key capspros- they look good- are nice and thick and give a nice soundcons- due to the layout of these caps are 2-2-3-3-3-3 the feel of typing a bit off for me. sometimes my fingers hit the top of some other keys as i am playing games, this issue is not as relevant when i am typing. if you prefer a more sculpted keycaps dont get these they are quite flat. if that doesn't bother you than the layout is fine.- as some of the other reviews have said the fit of the keys are very tight and i am a bit afraid of taking them off for another set.-the shine tough key are bit fuzzy of hazy around the edges and it make the legend seem harder to see, but not by much.over all for the price i am able to over look most of the problem i had wit this one thing i am unable to get behind is the 2-2-3-3-3-3 lay out it something i might have to just get used to. so i would recommend to anyone who want to replace super cheep key caps that come with some boards
