Greatest of All Time. A Tribute to Muhammad Ali

I have recently become a huge Muhammad Ali fan. I have watched every single documentary I can find on YouTube. This man is my hero and my idol and someone I aspire to be like, because there can only be one! This book to me, is the most amazing book I've ever seen in person. The size of this book is huge and it's heavy. The pictures are amazing! There is so much content in this book that it will probably take me over a year to read everything and analyze all the pictures. And I'm really looking forward to doing this in the next year I'll probably read and observe about 5 Pages a day. There is so much information and so many beautiful pictures, it's astonishing. There is a review on here that says that the binding is terrible. I have no idea what this guy is talking about. If you are the type of person who takes care of your things I don't see why this binding will not last you your lifetime. I cherish this book I'm careful when I open the pages I placed a box that it comes with next to the book so that when I open the pages the book opens on top of that cardboard box that the book comes with which has Muhammad Ali knocking out that guy. That way the binding won't overstretch. Trust me buy, it you will not regret this because I certainly don't regret it at all I'm so glad I got it. Long live the memory of the greatest man of our time, Muhammad Ali!

My 91 year old father in law loved it! Brought back memories - The pictures are phenomenal. I definitely would recommend this to any boxing or history buff!

I have the promo copy of the GOAT and have unrolled it many times out of the tube for friends. They were totally amazed since none of us could afford the 75 pound mammoth book. Astounding from front to back; I own a lot of Ali-related media & this is the most impressive piece in my collection now. Gigantic, oversized, unwieldly...just like the man and his career. Outstanding work, Taschen. It's the 3rd book I've gotten from them (one on Michael Mann and another on Kubrick). SUPERB. A must-buy if you're a fan of the Greatest Of All Time.

Purchased this book as Christmas gift for my boyfriend. He considers Ali the GOAT and loves the book. The pictures don't do the book justice. Be prepared when you receive the book because it's quite heavy.

Avevo visto questo libro parecchio tempo fa', il prezzo di listino è di 100€, amazon lo vendeva a 50€, già un buon prezzo ma non avendo disponibilità al momento lo aggiunsi alla "lista desideri". Poche settimane fa' scorrendola ho visto che il prezzo era sceso a 30€, non me lo sono fatto scappare. Un paio di giorni dopo era a casa, il libro è di generose dimensioni e pesa circa 7kg, impossibile leggerlo se non seduti o sul tavolo. La qualità della carta è ottima e le foto sono spettacolari. E' una biografia completissima di Mohammed. Talmente bello ed economico che ne ho presa un'altra copia da regalare a mio zio. Consigliatissimo a tutti gli appassionati della boxe.

This is a must have if you: 1) Are a boxing fan 2) A sports fan 3) A guy growing up from the sixties to the eighties 4) Enjoy social/sports/portrait photography 5) Want to impress just about anybody! This book has an awesome quality, and it's a great and entertaining read. It is really worth the money, especially now the price has come down I remember growing up with me and my dad watching the Ali fights. In a way this book takes me back to my own youth. Great read about the GOAT, the time he grew up in but also about people around him and the fighters he fought. I also enjoyed the quality of the pictures, especially some of the fights. I just captures the drama, the intensity of the fights and also of that era. It's the biggest book in my bookcase and I am very happy I got it.

Man muss Ali lieben, um so ein Buch zusammenstellen zu können.
