Standard Catalog of Ruger Firearms Kindle Edition

It is OK for a reference book. The security six revolver is in the book but there is not really a lot of information about the "six" line of Ruger revolvers. I should have read the reviews more carefully because one review stated it was more like a collection of magazines articles. That review was accurate. I bought the book from Nash Books on Amazon. They were wonderful and packaged the book with utmost care. I would buy books from them again in a minute. The book paper quality and manufacture was excellent but it was printed in China.

Hoped for more depth on distributor exclusive models, a la the SCSW. Good background history on company, but it needs more detail on production numbers, etc. Costs half as much as the SCSW—and that’s all it’s worth.

Wonderful book! Chronicles the story of Bill Ruger, Alexander Sturm and the very early days of their partnership. Ruger pressed on after Sturm's untimely death in 1950, and built one of the largest firearms manufacturies in the United States. A good yarn and explicit detail, all in a page-turner style. Highly recommended for all firearms enthusiasts.

Great product from a great seller

Not overly impressed with this book. It does not compare to the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson as far as layout and firearm descriptions. My copy also has many blurry pages, the text is very difficult to read. Page 231 is incomplete, it just ends mid-sentence..

Great Ruger reference.

Lots of good info, but you may have to look around in the book to find it. For instants, info on the single action revolvers are in three sections. After I past the learning curve, I am now better at finding what I am looking for.
