Excellent
One of the best electronics tools to have (though the price has gone up a TON since I got it). Great for connecting header pins quickly but semi-permenantly, much better than protoboard for most tasks, and doesn't mess up the pins. The stripper inside the tube is extremely useful, but easy to lose, so keep good track of it, it's something you'll want to keep for a long time.

Perfect tool for the job
This is a great general wire-wrapping tool. It works for smaller gauge wires. The construction is solid and the wire-slot is a decent size to prevent binding when using larger gauge wires.

It consistently breaks wire
Tool consistently breaks wire and I have returned for refund. Ordered a replacement - Electronix Express Wrap Tool 03WTE and it works great. I don't recommend purchasing.

difficult at first, wire breaking
I remember this tool working very well 20 years ago when I had one from the local Radio Shack. I can't find my old one, so I bought a new one here on Amazon. It was frustrating at first, the wire always broke after a turn or two. I thought the stripper might be nicking the metal, so I used a different stripper, same problem. The wire I have is 30 AWG, this product:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008AGUAII/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1The instructions on the package say to turn the tool clockwise (to the right), but if I turn it counter-clockwise (to the left), I find it actually works better and doesn't break the wire. So I guess that makes it usable.Anyway, this was the cheapest option, so I'd buy another if I had to...

bought three of these. Only one worked as advertised. Not worth the effort to return the other two.

Radio Shack does not stock these anymore.
I have used several wire wrap tools, powered and manual.. I used to do a tonof wire wrap prototyping for a major university way back in the day.For 30 gauge modified wrap this tool for me is the most comfortablebecause you can twist this tool like a watchmaker's screwdriver with your index fingerpositioned on top. No other brand of wire wrap tool that I know of has thetop swivel feature. The tool is simple and sturdy and I've yet to wear it out after years of use.The stripper that comes with it is pretty lame. Get yourself a good qualityfine gauge wire stripper(down to 30 gauge) to strip the wire.Don't, buy cheap wire wrap wire! If you can, get good Kynar, silver plated wire.Good tin plate second. Also the price, even with shipping, from this seller, is a real bargain. The seller shipped item in original Radio Shack blister pack.Shipping was very quick. No problems.

Excellent tool for stripping and wrapping 30 gauge wire
Excellent tool for stripping and wrapping 30 gauge wire. The stripper tool stores in the handle. I've had one for years and recently ordered a spare (afraid they may not be available much longer).

Hard to find since 'shack closed the majority of it's stores in my area. Most electrical suppliers do not stock the tool, and if they did, want a arm, leg, and first born for it. It does it's job. The wire stripper (hides inside the barrel) leaves a lot to be desired. Use only with wire wrapping wire (30awg) as the tool can't accept any larger wire. My older tool was damaged when someone attempted to wrap 24 solid copper and deformed the tool tip.
