Even though it has taken 3 to 4 hours to fully assemble the shelves, it might be because I ordered 3 standard and 1 corner units because assembly steps were in fact really simple.Only downside is you will not have the same height in all rows because of the way pieces clamp together. there is always 1 shelf with less height, you can not leave the same gap in between all shelves.It is sturdy, but to admit a bit on the pricier side anyway. If you dont mind the price, go for it.

These are good solid shelves with plenty of space. I have 2 corner units and a straight section in my shed which provide all the shelf space I am likely to need.I put a coat of varnish on the shelves, partly to minimise the risk of mould and partly to provide a non absorbant cleanable surface.Assembly is fairly straight forward - I did it by myself, but a 2nd pair of hands would have been helpful. The instructions are OK, but the closeup pictures showing joints and connections need more contrast. It is difficult to see the difference between the correct and incorrect illustrations. Read the instructions through and study the pictures before starting - it will save you time!The provided rubber mallet is essential to make sure the connectors are fully in place. WARNING: make sure the lugs have slid through the first slot and seated in the second before wacking it too hard. When fitting the support bars for under the shelves you need to pre-bend the lugs at both ends, again make sure the lug has slotted right through, and then use a flat screwdriver to bend the lugs a bit further so they don't slide out.All in all a good product which I expect to last.

I bought two of these. Each one took about 2 hours to put together. Half the time spent was painting the wooden shelves as they are untreated mdf and I’d seen a few reviews saying you should paint or treat them. The rest of the time was spent building the metal parts.The first one was a bit tricky , but once you get the hang of it you can complete them without the instructions.Really impressed with how sturdy they are and once painted they look good.You definitely need a rubber mallet to put these together. But that’s the only equipment you’ll need.Delivery time was 5 days earlier than expected.

Excellent product. Very sturdy. Assembly was fine once we got the idea. Highly recommended. All the essential parts were included - only minor point was that the mallet was not included so we had to create a makeshift one with a hammer and some padding given we didn’t want to wait to order one as the boxes were opened and we were ready and set to go! If you are in doubt about negative reviews - don’t be - the service and aftercare is good and it all arrived in good packaging and condition. The garage is now organised and I wish I had a bigger garage to store and organise more. I purchased a corner unit with 4 shelving units 900w*45d *180h. It is worth the extra cost for the extra depth and I wish I’d gone for even deeper shelves. Measure you space first then order to get the optimum combination for your needs. Highly recommended and don’t know why I waited so long. I can now see and access everything without having to look for a needle in a haystack.

very happy with racking I bought three lots of this for my shed and I am very pleased the only crap point is I now need to replace all the wooden shelves with proper wood as the material supplied went all mouldy which is crap and thats why I gave a 3 star rating for value for money so in future supply with decent shelving material but I would still buy these again but it would be nice to fit and forget

Great shelving unit! A little bit of a hassle to assemble but once up looks great and sturdy. Was a bit tall for our cellar so we had to leave a few shelves off. We were missing the corner unit when delivery turned up but Storage Affairs sorted the issue immediately and had this sent out next day. Excellent customer service!

Had a corner and straight unit. The corner unit is a bit more difficult to assemble than the straight unit ( A video would be useful for this).Overall very easy to assemble, if there was any comment, it would be about the centre shelf supports. They are good but a bit fiddly, the only area that could possibly be improved.Really does the job.
