AXIAL 1225, Quiet Muffin Fan, 120V AC 120mm x 25mm Low Speed, UL-Certified for DIY Cooling Ventilation Exhaust Projects

I purchased two 120mm fans from AC Infinity, one high speed and one low speed. The short story is that both fans are awesome quality. The high speed fan is a little too noisy for a living room entertainment center but makes some impressive airflow. The low speed fan is quiet enough to use in the living room, 6 feet away, and not make a noticeable amount of noise while still moving plenty of air. If you are looking for a fan, buy one of these. I built two stereo cabinets with intake filters and used these fans as exhaust fans. Since I had two cabinets, one for the shop and one for the house, I bought both the high speed and low speed fans figuring I would put the high speed in the garage if it was too noisy for the living room. Both fans are very high quality, sturdy aluminum surrounds. The high speed fan is about twice as thick as the low speed fan but otherwise they are identical. All the hardware necessary to mount them was included and mounting screws were long enough to mount through 3/4 inch thick plywood without problem. The high speed fan did turn out to be more noisy than I wanted for the living room so it ended up in the shop. The primary purpose of the cabinet in the shop was to protect the stereo from metal dust and other nasty garbage, but I have no doubt that a single 120mm high speed fan will circulate more than enough air to cool any electrical component or series of components you could assemble. I am using a standard 16 x 20 inch ventilation duct filter from the hardware store and the fan generates enough force to hold the cabinet door (20 x 24) shut with a clean filter. Even now that the filter is getting clogged with sawdust and grinder dust the fan is still moving air. The only downside is the noise. For comparison, if you have heard a PS4 switch from normal cooling to high speed cooling, that is about how loud this fan is. The low speed fan is perfect for my stereo cabinet in the house. It is quiet enough that you forget it's on as soon as you turn on the radio or TV and sit down on the couch six or so feet away. I have a receiver and a PS4 in the cabinet and the cabinet temperature has not risen above ambient enough that I can tell by feel, even after hours of movies or video games. This is in a small footprint cabinet with no room inside for internal circulation, so the PS4 gets hot very quickly without the fan on. I know the fan is doing all the work cooling and getting it done nicely. I have little doubt these fan will last for years based on the quality and they are definitely worth the price.

Easy install, all necessary items included. On medium speed, the noise is not off-putting. You come to ignore it and it becomes white noise. Beware the speed control dial if using in a bedroom for generating airflow - there is a white indicator light that is bright out of all proportion. This fixed cold spots in my home by generating a return flow of colder air. We put it up high, next to the ceiling, and on medium it blows enough of the warm air up there towards the other end of the room and generates a return flow to the heater, evening out the heat in the room. No more cold spots. Bought a second one for a different part of the house. Good little fan.

I originally ordered a fan to replace the fan in my mesa boogie mark IV guitar amplifier, which was getting noisy and loud. Because the original was not made anymore, I searched Amazon and found one the same size, fast rpm, etc., When I received it and turned it on, it was plastic, loud and noisy. I asked google AI for a recommended replacement for my original one and this one came up. For a $1 more it is aluminum and quiet. I didn’t need one with fast RPM, I needed a low speed. High quality and quiet, very impressed!

Look, the fan moves air very well... and it looks great doing it. I'm sure it would cool my equipment just fine. It's built great, fan grate is nice, but speed might be a bit higher than I was expecting. HOWEVER, I was trying to replace a nice, quiet fan that has a little bearing noise starting. Yeah, not so much. This thing is TWICE as loud (perceived sound) as the no-name generic fan that came with the 6U rack! I bought the LOW RPM version hoping for a quiet replacement, but this was yanked out and put right back in the box after 10 minutes. No thank you. I can't fault the fan, as yes, it works very well- but I wouldn't install these anywhere near you if sound level is important. I used a sound meter app on my phone to verify. It's not calibrated, of course, but it definitely gives an idea of the sound disparity between my current, and the AC Infinity. I never moved or touched the phone except to grab screenshots. My current fan, even with some bearing noise is 42db as measured where I had the phone placed near the rack. The AC Infinity measured 61db. That's not a small difference, but HUGE! The logarithmic difference is 4x, but either way, it was seriously noticeable.

Great little fan that kicks out a surprising amount of airflow. The variable speed setting works perfectly — I mostly use it in my grow room when I need to push air in a certain direction, and it’s easy to move around wherever I need it. Solid build, reliable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommended if you need a compact fan with real power.

風の強さは凄いです。 最初は電気ストーブの暖房効果を拡散する目的で ストーブの正面に向かい合うように設置して、 MAXで付けてみて試しに部屋でタバコを吸ってみたら、 煙が真横に流れて行ったんです。ファンの近くじゃなくて、部屋の真ん中とかでも同様で。 普通、上に行く煙が横に進むのは異様な光景で、 ストーブに煙が全部ぶつけられて可哀想でした MAXだと、あまりの風の強さに暖房効果よりも体感温度が下がって寒かった... 風量調節を上手くすると、 電気ストーブでは室内温度の限界が19℃だったのに 23℃まで暖かくなりました！循環って大事！ ストーブの周りだけが暖かくて、足元は寒い現象は解決しました この部屋全体の空気が循環する風量って普通の大きい扇風機とか、エアコンのレベルに匹敵しますよね 乾燥に弱い人には残念ですが 12cmファンでこの風量は本当に凄いです。 巻き込み防止のカバーと、ネジ、防振のゴム(ワッシャーみたいな)、L字のマウントが付いてて付属品も十分ですかね安心感があります 私は全く使ってません 今回は初期不良なのか、 ON、OFF切り替えのカチッという音がせず、 リモコンを回しても反応しない事があります。 こねくり回すと付くので問題ありません 配線も硬くて長くて太くて、取り回しが効きにくい感じです コンセント→リモコン→ファン1→ファン2って順番なんですけど、 ファンからファンの部分の配線が長くて、ファンを隣に並べて使う場合は配線を8回折り、畳んで纏めました。 切って、繋げる。が出来ると綺麗に収まりますけどそのままの使用だと少し利便性が低いと感じる所はあります なので中身や配線も弄れる人なら最強製品かと。 車のエアコンフィルターと、活性炭を使って、タバコ用空気清浄機をDIYするのも良いなって思った。 ストーブと併用した暖房効果も捨てられないし、換気扇としても優秀ですし。パソコンに外付けしても物凄い冷却効果ですし。 どう使ってあげようか迷いながら数ヵ月経ってしまいました... 製品が優秀すぎて、設計図とアイデアがどんどん湧いてきて決定できない あと2つくらい買わないと救われない病気になってしまいました ありがとうございました。

La calidad de este ventilador está perfecta, no hace mucho ruido molesto, todo el marco es de metal por lo que se vuelve pesado. La velocidad del aire también es buena. Lo utilicé para crear un tubo de aire para un limpiador de semillas y funciona perfecto. Si lo compraría otra vez cuando necesite uno nuevo.

Cumple muy bien su función de enfriar una caba de vinos que emprote y a la cual en un inicio le había realizado unos agujeros laterales al mueble para que respirará, pero sentia que se calentaba mucho y de ahí la desición de poner este ventilador el cual mantiene muy fresco el interior del gabinete al estar cambiando constantemente el aire, el enfriador se mantiene fresco. Solo hace un poco mas de ruido de lo que esperaba pero no molesta, pero sabes que esta prendido.
