this book was very helpful to understand the context of the book of Kings. It did a great job of making applications and giving illustrations to make it useful. i highly recommend this and the companion book of Chronicles.

I use this as a companion commentary as I read through 1 & 2 Kings. Not too heavy and not too light.

This book of commentary will be very hellfire when we s tart the study of Kings I have been collicting this series of commentaries I enjoy them all. In my study there very helpful
