Breather Fit - America's Breathing Muscle Trainer

I felt that I had outgrown the [basic, dare I call it?] Breather, finding probably some benefit of course, but I had the settings on maximum for several weeks, increased reps and sessions - so time to look for something more. The B.Fit is the next logical step, as I'm a SCUBA diver [experienced now], seeking to enhance my dives with better breathing control and ability: so, this is my 2nd day, and feel comfortable on setting 2, used for the first time this morning: no puffing of the cheeks, in control, building from a conservative 10 reps: this device is great, giving me a range to work through far better than the Breather, so an indication that I am in none too bad shape, but also work to do.This is an easy-to-use bit of kit, simple controls, light-weight and not difficult to maintain - the website again is straightforward, with a series of instructional videos that take you through the how-to + give some background [not fully explored as yet, but very promising]. An added bonus I feel, right now with our not-so-friendly virus around is the development and maintenance of good respiratory practice, an awareness of your own breathing 'norm' and increased resilience generally - particularly as this virus primarily targets respiratory entry and effects - all things that may just be of real benefit, and so easily done - I'd recommend working through the Breather first, and seeing how that suits - but use an understanding health professional if you feel unsure. Great for getting the lungs working again I have very severe asthma and I've difficulty walking , after using for a week I managed a flight of stairs in one go , normally takes 3 , theres am app which is very helpful unfortunately its went down but I contacted the manufacturer on medical by email , they're working on the app and sent me a PDF file to keep me going , great product for asthma and great afterservice

The pros...- Does the job its designed to and is very simple to use- Gives a lot of resistance- Looks aesthetically good (although very plasticky)The cons...- No instructions included: a clear attempt to bounce you to an app! I'm not sure why you would use which mouthpiece- VERY overpriced for what it is. A lot of these fitness gadgets are though- No case or bag or anyway to store it and keep it clean: for the price this should be included

A good quality product

Easy to use, helps breathing whilst strengthening the lungs.The best thing is it works both inhaling and exhaling muscles keeping it balanced, unlike POWERbreathe which concentrates on exhaling.Very pleased, thanks.

The device is ok but the associated app is not.The app ran (very slowly) for about 1 month and then said it needed an update that just doesn't work. I currently can't use the device because of the app!Lots of other customers in the Play store saying the same.£60 wasted

To be clear, this is an excellent product. I have the basic model, which I have worked up to the maximum settings over the space of a couple of months, and benefited greatly.So I bought this upgrade of the breather fit model, expecting to get a much harder work out, to develop my breathing further. However, I can't tell the difference between the breather fit on maximum settings and my previous basic level breather. I'm very disappointed, and a bit puzzled. I wish it meant that I was incredibly fit, but I'm not.On the other hand and if you're in your 50s like me, haven't been doing exercise for a while, but want to to increase your breathing capacity, but don't know whether to get the entry-level or the fit level, then I certainly wish I had started with the fit level because, as I say, I can't tell any difference between them. And that's why I'm giving it 3 stars, because it's a great product, but it's not worth buying two of them!!

Started off ok but after using for 5 weeks I have returned it back to Amazon, it didn’t actually achieve anything and the app is very poor and doesn’t have any clear instructions. It also crashes a lot and now has decided I don’t have an account even though I have been using it for 5 weeks. The idea is good but it’s not we’ll executed and the app needs a complete review
