Okay so my hair is very 'unruly' naturally curly and slightly dry also very hard to get a brush through. I'm super particular about my products but will definelty take the time out to write a 5 star review when warranted, and I LOVE THIS HAIRSPRAY! I've been diagnosed with {Multiple Chemical Sensitivity} MCS and very concerned with anything contain harsh & harmful chemicals. So needless to say, my entire home is full of non-toxic products the best to my ability and happy to add my new hair spray & hair gel to list. When I first sprayed, I noticed a light mist and pleasant smell. The smell is like a lemongrass, citrus, grape fruit. Its not harmful whatsoever because my symptoms would tell me so. This product is also listed on the Enviromental Working Group App {EWG} as a '2' for zero allergy/cancer related concerns. The scale of numbers range from {1-10} 1 being the least harmful to 10 being the most harmful. After showering, I apply the Herbal Choice Mari hair gel to my wet head, let air dry then add the Organic hair spray as my finishing product when styling my hair. The hold is light, not stiff, nor sticky and not firm. Just natural enough to keep it styled but not enough to hold it from the highest desert winds {as I live in NV} However, being that its toxic free, has a great scent, cruelty free, does the job, and cost effective--this product is the right choice for me. And as I said, I'm very picky when it comes to what products I use on my hair or body in general. Both in ingredients and how they work overall. Give this hair spray a chance! I do understand that everyone's needs are different in hair texture and in choice but I can honestly say, I am impressed for it being a natural organic product, and I will be purchasing it again. Thank You Mari for caring about the planet, what goes into your product, and the people who NEED IT due to chemical sensitivities.

Love the smell. Also no alcohol, so it won't dry my hair out.

I barely sprayed the product & it left my hair stiff, dry, & somewhat sticky. I have fine, dry hair to begin with. Would not recommend this product or buy it again.

Daughter says it actually works. Bottle has a strong smell but didn't seem to after spraying it and drying.

Nice product, for everyday use. Hold does not last a long time, but is definitely not a noxious, chemical smelling product which drives the purchase. It arrives in an incomplete package every time. All photos/images show pump sprayer with a protective, transparent plastic cap. I'm forced to use without protective cap... irritating.Continuing to purchase because of good enough hair spray performance for casual use and non-chemical smell and natural enough formulation? Amazon keeps delivering incomplete product without protective cap.

Toxic chemicals are everywhere these days! That's why I try to find healthier alternatives to most products I know can be harmful.I was really excited when I found this organic hairspray and I couldn't wait to try it out. When it first arrived I was really happy because it smells really good! It has a very citrus smelling scent to it. I was honestly afraid it would smell terrible, but I'd give it a 10/10 just for the scent alone.My first impression of it after using it the first time was that it's not as "sticky" as most other hairsprays are. This took a little bit of getting used to and I was afraid I wasn't using enough at first.I decided to try and tease my hair with it and I've gotta say, it did much better than I thought it would. It actually helped give my super thin, super fine hair a bit of texture which helped to make it easier to get my hair to do what I wanted it to.I used it again when I knew I was going to be out in the heat all day, and even through sweat and water being splashed at me it did a great job of controlling frizz and keeping my hairstyle the way I wanted it.Overall, I'm very impressed with how well this hairspray worked and I'm pretty much hooked on it now. I will definitely be recommending it to my "crunchy" friends and family looking for a healthier alternative to other common hairsprays sold in stores.

The person that works on my hair said that it is a little waery when it gets on the hair. It kind of spirtzes everywhere too.
