Just what I needed to convert my unappealing dressmaker torso mannequin into a display showpiece. This nicely covered the seams and knobs so that I can display, photograph and sell my clothing items online. Perfectly fit my needs. And like a velvet hanger, clothing stays put and doesn't slide around once placed on the form. Couldn't be happier. My mannequin is a size 10-16 and this cover stretched to cover it just fine. I wouldn't try to put it on anything larger, though.

I have a collection of "Lady Armor"...smaller breastplates, gorgets, and paldrons that I use for display purposes only. While they are made like traditional men's reproduction armor (for LARPing, cosplay, ren faires and the like) out of good solid metal, they are smaller in size. I like to display them on my more solid mannequin/dressmaking forms, as these forms are small enough to look good with these "daintier" armor pieces. While browsing through Amazon the other evening, I stumbled on these stretch velvet mannequin form covers. The price was good and some of the vibrant colors were Prime items, so I took a chance.What a great item! My choice of the blue came promptly, no odd odor to the piece, a real stretch velvet, a perfect fit to the small forms, and an okay fit to the medium forms, and a vibrant gorgeous color! I will most definitely order some more soon. Anyone who sews/crafts/cosplays/decorates and thus has multiple dress forms (in smaller sizes) will find these to be a great way to refresh your tired dress forms for a few bucks. This makes my workroom/showroom look bright, and draws the eye to my collection.Now I have to snoop around and see if I can find this in a larger size for some of my more hefty dress forms. I hope they are out there!I am delighted with this!

We bought this cover thinking that it might not cover the original cover, completely. We have been impressed that it's thick enough that it's still white and not grey with the black cover beneath it. It's a little velvety and that makes fabrics cling to it, but that's a small quibble. It fits well over the original cover, stretches as needed and is doing the job we bought it for, perfectly.

I got a dress form secondhand and had to cover the allover printing on a medium gray fabric on the form. This fits fairly well. A bit on the thin side (you can see the printing on the form underneath), but does the trick. I didn’t experience the shedding some people mentioned when fitting the white cover over my form.

Perfect fit! Great price! It is see-through. I was thinking about getting the black cotton one for underneath, but this is so snug I’m not sure it would fit. I’ve had my dress form a really long time and it was starting to discolor and this brightness it up! The velvet is soft and the bottom has a perfectly fitted elastic band. The top for the wooden piece is already cut and has a soft, sewn edge; it’s not a raw hem. I would buy again!

I have the same one in black which I love on my antique dress form . I needed a white one . But if I do use it I’m going to have to try and stretch it over the black . Being over 100 years old my dress form has lost a lot of its fabric . Would have returned but window closed before I could try it . So we shall see if I can manhandle it over the black and hope it’s not too thick looking . Otherwise I’m stuck with it beautiful velvet though . Love the black .

This cover definitely makes my dress form look presentable. It barely fits width wise and is a couple inches too short. While I was putting it on my dress form, a side seam busted open and the elastic partly came off on the bottom. I had to sew it back together which wasn't hard, but its the reason I'm only giving it 3 stars. The construction is not good, but for this low price I am okay with it since it serves the purpose I bought it for.
