I've tried others, including a pair of calf compression sleeves which I returned. The sleeves were nothing more than modified women's pantyhose in fit and thickness. The other graduated compression socks, although satisfactory, had unacceptable internal seams. The seams actually left imbedded marks across surface veins. I think the seams actually interfere with vein blood flow.The PeakForm socks are terrific in fit, finish, form (and fashion). They are very comfortable and do not have the severe seams of the other brand.I had questions regarding the size because my calf dimensions are right at the transition measurements between small and medium.Simon, the owner of PeakForm responded promptly to my concerns with very helpful information. He sent me a video showing how to put them on correctly. This helped in my selection of the correct size. He followed up several times with additional questions soliciting my feedback to be sure I was pleased. His personal attention and efforts were beyond admirable for any customer service inquiry of any company. His focus on a singular consumer is on a par with Amazon's great Customer Service.Even the retail packaging quality and graphics for these socks is superlative.The PeakForm socks are designed with discrete compression engineering specific to left and right legs. The socks are clearly marked accordingly. I haven't seen this with any competitors products.I highly recommend PeakForm and gladly rate them 5 stars. Simon's personal customer service attention is worthy of 5+ stars.Needless to say, I am very pleased. Terrific value, great price, good looking!!Followup after a month: These are terrific in form and function. I have two other pair from different manufacturers that are rated 20 - 30mmhg. They do not have graduated compression and leave marks around my ankles and calves where the compression changes.The PeakForms have a smoothly graduated compression from my arches to the knees. In terms of durability, the others are beginning to show loose threads. The PeakForms are still like new. I highly recommend them!!

These are of EXCELLENT quality, and one of the few companies to offer 2XL sizes to fit my 18" calves comfortably. This was the first compression product that I have used so I don't know how it compares to other similar products but I can say based on my experience while traveling to Japan that these socks performed well above my expectations. My main use for these was to help with the foot and lower leg cramping that I get when flying economy on commercial airliners. Typically, my feet and legs become uncomfortable after 2-3 hours of flight. So you can imagine how much I was dreading my first international flight! I wore these to mitigate the discomfort and after both 12+ hour flights I was amazed to find that I had no discomfort in my feet or my legs.Other factors helped as well, I'm sure, like getting up every couple of hours to walk about the cabin and stretch, but I know the socks were a big part of my success. Evidence of this could be seen when I took a 2 hour train ride while in Japan without wearing the socks. Despite having more leg room on the bullet train, I got that restless discomfort that I am all too familiar with. Needless to say, I wore the socks on my train ride back to Tokyo and I had no discomfort.Lastly, the fabric is very tough and breathable. They were pretty easy to get on but even when I used brute force as opposed to intelligence, I never felt like the sock was at risk for damage. My feet get very hot and sweaty if I don't wear breathable socks but I was fine in these. I mostly had my shoes off one the plane, but a few times during my trip I wore these with shoes and didn't get swampy feet.TLDR: These are a durable, breathable sock that was effective at minimizing (and even eliminating) foot and leg discomfort while flying 12+ hours. Also would be good to wear during exercise or while playing sports.

I wear boots a lot, I am not exactly young, and I am a little on the heavy side. So I wanted to try an over the calf compression sock that was something other than an expensive sock by a name sports brand such as Nike Dry Fit, which I have used for years. I ordered a pair of PeakForm socks and was so impressed with how they feel, I ordered 4 additional pairs. The difference is unbelievable. My shoe size is a men's 10 D and the size large PeakForm sock fits great.

They fit my huge calves! 22" and I am shocked! I have not worn them all day yet, however they fit...a little too long.

These are snug (as they should be), but I've had them on for 11 hours now, and have completely forgotten about them. They're very comfortable.My small diameter measurement was 8.5", large was 14.5", and heel to knee is about 18". I ordered Large, and they are just right.

These are nice socks if you don't need any cushion on the heel. I ended up with a bad rub from boots. Perhaps they could use other materials and make the socks thicker. As it stands, I prefer Sockwell as they are thick enough not to allow any rubbing on my heel...even with boots on. Fit was as expected and good for long calves.

Great socks to aid with circulation. They are easy to get on and off even though they fit nice and snug. Overall I'm very happy with them
