Close to expiration, but syrup is still just fine
I got a soda stream over the summer, but don't like Pepsi. I purchase this and transfer into 16oz canning jars that I keep in my fridge. I have 2 16-oz glass olive oil dispensers that I transfer the syrup to in order to make it easier to use. It usually takes me about 4-5 months to go through the whole 2.5 gallons as I am the only soda drinker in the house. I love not having to buy, lug home, and then dispose of all the aluminum or plastic containers anymore. This has been one of my favorite purchases of the year. I'm on my 3rd order and I highly recommend it. Remember to buy the gadget that you need to get the syrup out of the box. It's only a few bucks and can be reused if cleaned and stored properly.Note: these are often sent close to their expiration date. I haven't noticed an issue with the product quality after expiration. I mean, it's a slew of chemicals... it would take a lot to make it go bad.

Tastes great
I originally gave this a 3 star review, but have since changed it to a 5 star review since adjusting the amount of syrup used. I don’t think it taste like Diet Coke at all. Seems to have a strange after taste. Perhaps I need to play with amount used, but I have used recommended amounts so far. I will not buy again.

Real Diet Coke Syrup
I am a fountain Diet Coke fanatic (I only drink the canned in an emergency lol). I’ve been buying this syrup for over a year. Yes it does arrive close to the expiration date, but I have not noticed a large taste difference. I have the tap, but I put the syrup in a squirt bottle in the fridge; it does taste better cold. It definitely tastes better than the Sodastream version. It is more expensive, but it’s cheaper than buying from McDonalds several times a day.

Original product expired in 2 weeks, company made it right
I love me some good diet coke... And I drink a lot of it... But as much as my spirit is willing to consume 15 gallons of diet coke in 2 weeks, I just can't do it.As most people considering this product, I am a soda enthusiast with a home soda fountain - not a restaurant. If I was a restaurant, I'd be buying my diet coke in bulk from a restaurant supplier at a much better price.. But alas, I don't have access go a restaurant supplier, so I must pay a premium to have it delivered to my door...So we've established that this product is clearly targeted for personal use, not for comercial use.. Yet somehow, a single household is expected to consume 15 gallons of diet coke in 2 weeks? I think not. After reaching out to the company, they shipped me a replacement for free. The new box expires much further in the future... So all is well.

Expiration date too short
No way I'd be able to use all this syrup before the overly short expiration date. Wish it tasted as good as Mickey D's. Why does theirs taste SO much better

The Good and the Bad
Ok. So, the expiration date compliants are legit. Received my Diet Coke syrup on 2/21/24. Expiration date on the carton I received? 3/24. I have one month to consume this. For over $100, the customer deserves better than that. Very disappointing. Other observations:1. It takes twice as much syrup as the Soda Stream product. Roughly 2/2.5 cap-fulls of the soda stream caps. Thats at, or over half a cup for each bottle you make.2. As a result, the more syrup being used, the more the carbonation becomes diluted, so you end up with a less carbonated beverage.3. You will 100% need the $15.00 nozzle they sell for this, on Amazon. Search "soda nozzle". That'll get you what you need.Does it taste like out-of-the-can Diet Coke? Meh. Not really. It doesn't taste bad. It tastes like a lite version of Diet Coke, with less carbonation.I used RO water. Not sure of the PH of the water, and all of that.Overall I'm not impressed. Does it taste better than the Soda Stream Diet Cola? Yes. By a lot? Probably. Is it worth the cost/hassle, roll of the dice on expiration date? I suppose that's subjective. For me? Probably not.
