Filled with Broken Army Men
This is kind of odd but I have pictures to prove it. My dog was eating her dinner and I noticed her bowl was tipped over. For some reason the top portion just broke off. When I picked it up I found that there were a bunch of headless army men in the bottom portion of the bowl.... I'm a little speechless... The bowls are great. I have two red ones and one black one and I love them, but this is just odd... The bowl on the left is the other bowl we have for comparison the one on the right is the broken one.

A Gross Misrepresentation-This product is dangerous !
This is flagrant misrepresentation. The product is presented as “Nickel”.It is CERAMIC with silver paint. The 2nd day, my dog knocked it over and it broke. While attempting to pick up the broken pieces, while keeping my dog from injuring himself on all the broken pieces, I lacerated my finger requiring sutures.

Warped
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I got my replacement for the first one that was warped. I was so excited that it sat flat but as I went to place the bowl in the stand I noticed the base was damaged in a way the would not have happened during shipping. So frustrated and I would like another that is not damaged or warped but now there isn’t a choice for replacement. So disappointed. I guess I’ll spend the time to call and see if the item can be inspected before shipping.I’m quite disappointed. I wanted to buy this for my dog for a long time and I finally did when it was on sale even though on sale price was more than I wanted to pay for a dog bowl. Its warped and rocks while sitting on a flat tile. I hope I can get a replacement that is in better quality. This is an expensive raised feeder to have this issue.

Expensive piece of pottery.
This was a bit pricey for made in China ceramic, I suppose the cost is in the shipping since it's really heavy. I needed a stand that would hold one bowl. Most stands I found held two or three bowls and were made of wood/bamboo. I tried a wood stand and the bowl just rattled around and it looked and felt cheap. I finally found this Unleashed stand and although it was on the expensive side I gave it a shot.I liked everything about this stand except the cheap steel bowl that comes with the stand. The bowl that comes with the Unleashed stand is deep and somewhat narrow and it rattles around when resting in the ceramic stand. I added felt bumpers inside the stand and that helped a bit.I wanted a second bowl to make swapping out dishes easier, but Unleashed was charging way to much for one thin and cheap stainless steel bowl. I found another bowl that fit the Unleashed stand: Americat Company Set of Stainless Steel Cat Bowls ( ASIN: B078WD334Q ). These Americat bowls work great with the Unleashed stand.... the bad part, the Americat bowls cost just as much as the Unleashed stand.Pictured with the review are the Americat bowls and the Unleashed Life High-Rise stand (small size). Siamese cat added for scale.

Sturdy and nice looking.
This is a well made and classy looking elevated dog bowl. The measurements are true, it is approx. 7 inches from top to bottom. Perfect for my tall-ish pug. I would like the bowl itself to be more shallow / smaller, but that has more to do with my pugs needs, than an issue with the design. The stand is easy to clean and the bowl does not move around too much inside. It is very sturdy and my pug was not able to push it along the floor. The way these are constructed, they can be stacked on top of each other for storage, which is good, because I bought 2. I think for a smaller dog, this would be too big. If your dog is 20 pounds or less, get the small feeder, unless they are very leggy.**Edit** Updated 6 months later. These bowls are as sturdy and nice looking as when I got them. They have not fallen over, cracked, rusted, or in any other way worn out. I use them every single day, twice a day for 2 pugs. The bowls clean easily and the stand wipes down just fine. I did get a liner to put underneath the bowl, as my pugs could sometimes pop the bowl out from eating too vigorously. I used that non-slip carpet backing, and it holds the bowls in place and keeps it from slipping.

Even better than we expected
We were a little hesitant when we pulled these out of the box and realized they were not as heavy as we would have expected them to be. With an 85 pound black lab with lots of energy, we were not sure how well these would do for him. We couldn't have been more pleased with how well they have worked out for us. He happily eats his food and drinks his water out of these bowls and has not knocked them over once. They've even stood up to him locking the last bites of moist food off the sides of the bowl. They are a bit pricy, but they look great in our home and serve the function of raising his food and water bowls like we needed. I would definitely recommend these to dog owners that are looking for raises bowls for their larger dogs... They do their job in style!

Arrived broken, low quality, outrageous price
Item was well packed. Yet, it was broken in 8 pieces on arrival bc it’s light, fragile and frankly, cheaply made. It’s not remotely the caliber required to hold a dog bowl or indicated by the astronomical cost. It would not have lasted a day with my big dogs. I’ve been a serious amazon customer for many years & never been so let down. On the positive side-Amazon gets 5 stars for their handling of the situation. Stay away unless you have tiny dogs, who move slowly and it’s set on a thick, extremely soft surface.

Posh dog eats!
My bowl arrived today and I love it, so it better last! I'm not sure why some had complaints about size, it is much larger than I expected (wish it were easier to attach a photo.) Mine arrived in tact and was packaged very well, I appreciate that care. My puppy is about 1' tall (20 lbs) and I was afraid he wouldn't be able to reach at a glance. He is easily able to drink from the bowl, it is at his level. He will be about 2' tall (40 lbs)full grown so I expect this to work well for me. I guess a tall dog may still have to bend a bit, I can't say for sure but judging the reviews it should work fine. My puppy seems to love it, he seems to be running over for water quite a bit, no problem there. And it is heavy, can't see it being knocked over easily. Measure 1 ft from the floor to the rim. Btw, I ordered the large bowl. I would recommend it and would gift it to pets of loved ones (pricey)

Excellent sturdy yet smart bowl
Lovely smart dog bowl, heavy enough not to travel around the kitchen floor by an eager feeding dog. Rubber edge to stainless steel bowl deadens the clanking noise when feeding. Easy to clean and a good height for a large dog. Very pleased.

Excellent raised dog dish/bowl
Excellent raised dog dish/bowl, I use mine for the dogs water bowl and is great for larger dogs that need a raised dish like my great dane.Made from very strong and thick plastic, comes with a stainless steel bowl but I have a copper CUbowl that fits perfectly, these raised stands looks very fancy.Heavy enough that big dogs don't knock it over .Very pleased with this order and will be getting 1 for the dogs food dish too

It's perfect!!
It's perfect for my purposes!! It's heavy enough not to get tipped over or blown away, and far more attractive than any other dish I could have put outside. It's more of a green-tinged grey than the beige in the picture, but that actually works out better for me, as it matches the colour of my fence better. Zero complaints. I love it!!

good weight, not easily tipped
Removable bowl, good weight, not easily tipped. Raises the food and waterabout 2 inches above the floor, which might not be enough for a taller dog,but perfect for our mixed breed shepherd/corgi/terrier/whatever with shorter legs. The dog is quite pleased with his new bowls, and so are we.

Love them!!!
Am moving to a new home and wanted nice dog dishes .. Ordered these and just received them .. They are gorgeous .. Very ornate, very heavy and look so awesome compared to the usual dog dishes. Would definitely recommend them and they are definitely worth the cost.
