Jazz Pose 6 in One Multi-function Mandolin Slicer, Vegetable Grater, Food Chopper with Storage Container,Hand Protector and Peeler for Vegetable,Cucumber, Carrots, Bpa Free (Red)

I already own a mandoline, but a different brand without the catching device underneath. I bought it from homesense and it cost about the same price. It didn't come with anything fancy. Just the mandoline. But it works so well. This one I'm afraid doesn't work anywhere near as well. I believe it's because the blades are of a much inferior quality and are not sharp enough. The idea is great. But it's just a bit wishy washy. For example the 1mm blade is in no way close to 1mm. It's closer to 3mm. I was looking forward to trying to make some nice crisps. I guess I'll use my old one. There are some positives. The interchangeable blades are good. The storage system is also great. But, the lid doesn't affix to the container very well at all and it just feels a little unsafe at times. Not the best.

Slices are not the size it says, cucumber slices are thick even on the thin slicer. The little black feet were pushed in as far as they would go but still came out when washing it, 2 are now list, hold it as a hand grater now, but blades are sharp.Put a little olive oil on it before grating cheese as it's not easy to grate.Watch your fingers as very sharp blades.OK for slicing potato and hard food but not so good with sift such as tomatoes.For the price it's OK but recommend you spend a bit more and get a better one.Will be contacting the vendor for more feet.If it would do soft foods and cheese better, if the feet stayed in and sliced thinner. it would have been a good slicer and had 5 stars.

This is very flimsy, not sturdy at all. I've used it twice and already the lid part does not fit on the main body properly anymore. I do not recommend this product

The mandoline slicer is very good for chopping, slicing, grating, mincing, etc. There are different plates with different blades or grater attachments provided for different chopping requirements. There is a box at the bottom which collects the chopped/ sliced/ grated food. To prevent your hands from getting cut, there is a holder which holds the vegetable or fruit that you are cutting. A very good purchase for chopping small or large quantities of fruits/ vegetables.

Having used this a couple of times now the quality is really poor. After one use of the potato peeler it has broken.

I've only used this a few times. Not a stable item... Th lid with the blade just sits on top of the base, there's nothing to secure it so expect movement. Mainly used for potato, don't think it will be too long until the blade is too dull to use. I gave 4 stars as it does its job but longevity I'm sure this won't last.

Its fine for left handed people however would prefer a better storage system

How can this be just £11?Mandolin slicers on TV shopping channels are usually far more expensive than this, but this is just as good for a fraction of the cost.It is made entirely of plastic, except for the blades, which is enough to do the job while keeping costs low.There's a number of attachments that can be stored in the side of the slicer, and as an added bonus there is a free hand slicer included.The attachments work well once you've had a couple of tries and know how to best use them. Make sure to apply some pressure and keep it against a non-stop surface and this will make slicing far easier.
