Viking Drinking Horn (18oz, Handcrafted, Natural Horn) - NO HORN SMELL - Iron Stand, Leather Belt Frog & Shoulder Strap Included (Smooth)

The horn is well made, polished, and the steps they took on preserving it without the "natural odor" make it worth the cost. The iron holder included with this horn is basically useless; it does not hold the horn up [i have it leaning against my PC for now] and plan on either heating it up and re-bending it or just make one that should fit it correctly. The added metal ring to the top seems a last minute addition and not well done-may just trim it off. The strap and belt loop holder are decent enough but doubt will ever use.Overall-if you want a decent drinking horn this is one to definitely consider-just may not want to go "all in" with the added glitz and glam and pick one of their base designs.

Great product all around, it does have somewhat of a smell once it gets wet, but a few washings cleared it up. All around well made, but I assume the stands aren’t made to fit each individual horn as it takes some balancing to keep it from tipping. Overall I would recommend getting this, would make a great gift or just a good conversation starter

I would like to say I am happy with the horn. The problem is, the horn has a smell that affects the flavor of its contents. I read on line that this is caused by a lack of the wax treatment. I have other drinking horns, I like to drink from them. I am going to re-treat it with bees wax. I am sure this is a one in a million event, but needs to be told.

It didn't arrive with a stand inside the box. Other reviews always complain about the stand anyways. There is a dent on the rim and overall horn feels flimsy. I haven't washed it yet but it arrived dirty. At least it will look good in my faire costume.

I ordered two, both arrived well packaged and on time. However, the first one did have a strange odor. After several rinses with vinegar, soap and water it was usable. The second one did not have an odor at all. Great accessory for Ren Faire. Would order again.

I got this as a gift for my husband for Christmas, he absolutely loved it!!!!! He couldn’t wait to use it.

Love that it came with two straps, one for a belt, one over the shoulder. Love that it has a stand, looks great on my shelf.Materials feel a bit thin, not a lot of weight to the horn.

The product is really convenient But the metal band at the top is loose, there’s a crack in the horn, and flakes peeling off inside. Cool product, just expected better quality for the price.
