SHARPAL 103N All-in-1 Knife and Garden Tool Blade Sharpener, Sharpening and Honing Shears, Secateurs, Lawn Mower Blade, Axe, Pruner, Scissors, Outdoor and Kitchen Knives

I use a lot of old tools at the allotment, as well as cooking knives and other knives at home. I already own lots of random sharpening tools, none of which are really any good, so I wanted to replace them all with a single all-in-one that actually worked. These kind of fits the bill, but it’s not the miracle-worker that I was hoping it would be. There’s a definite technique required for getting the best out of some of the tools, whilst some of them work instantly without any effort. The bevelled sharpener for secateurs etc is brilliant, really brilliant. A couple of swipes and they’re good and sharp. The wide sharpener for axes etc is pretty good, but sadly can’t cope very well with curved blades like billhooks and sickles due to the geometry of the handle. Shame, but I guess that’s not what it’s designed for. The handle is brilliant, and makes securing the sharpener on a worktop very simple, without need for silly suction cups (which never work properly). The draw-through knife sharpener is…..okay. Just okay. It does a reasonable job, with practice, but doesn’t give the effortless razor edge I was hoping for. The tungsten carbide bar is pretty good, and a good thing to fall back on when the draw-through knife sharpener does nothing to a blade. The white fine honing strip seems to be some kind of bluntener, and will strip the sharp edge off any tool in seconds. Seriously - that’s all it does. Whatever angle or stroke you use to apply it, it just removes any sharp edge from the blade instantly. I guess that could be handy in some situations, but it certainly doesn’t do what the instructions say that it does. Overall, a pretty handy thing to have in your bag or tool box if you just want a single tool for lots of jobs, but I’m not sure it was worth the money when only around half of the sharpening tools are truly useful.

Only just got this but manual hege trimmers now cut better. Sharpens quite well on 1st use. Can't say yet whether this will last, only time will tell.. ! Best price at time, very fast delivery and ordering simple. Very pleased so far.

SHARPAL 103N All-in-1 Sharpener mainly for my garden tools, and it’s turned out to be really useful. It works on almost everything – I’ve sharpened secateurs, shears, a lawn mower blade, and even a couple of kitchen knives with good results. The handle has a strong, comfortable grip and feels safe when holding it. The non-slip base also makes it stable while sharpening. I like that it has both coarse and fine sharpening options, so you can either restore a dull blade quickly or just hone it for a finer edge. It’s compact and lightweight, so easy to keep in a toolbox or kitchen drawer, and the build quality seems solid enough for long-term use.

This is a very good allround sharpener. But it's not as good as it's little brother, the Sharpal 101N 6 in one sharpener. The101N is a lot easier to use, and has great functions. This one the 103N is still a very good Shapener. Which sharpens numourous knifes, garden tools, and scissors. The scissor sharpener can be a bit awkward to use, if you don't know what you are doing, watch a you tube demonstration, to put you right. But it is still a good sharpener, for the money.

The product is as described, works well and is lightweight, using it therefore is easier than hevier types. The inly thing I would say is the shears sharpening blade is a little difficult to use. Be careful to follow the instructions which are clear. I would recommend this product

I'm not a gardener or expert in anyway. However I did need to trim my mums hedge but the shears and loppers were blunt. Literally a few goes with this tool and boom super sharp in no time! And as much as I tried to follow the instructions I admit I used the wrong part for the shears. But they still came out sharp! The kitchen knives are now super sharp too. Overall very easy to handle, great value and an ideal all in one little tool.

This is my first Amazon review, as the product is that useful / good. Sharpening my axes and hand tools is usually quite a length process, and whilst it's important - it takes so much time that I don't sharpen them as often as I should. This tool is amazing. I have a large machete that I use for clearing brush, and I try to avoid sharpening it due to its shape, and the fact that it takes a lifetime. I can now sharpen it within a few minutes, and then hone it. The same is true with my axes - although due to the smaller heads they are quicker with a standard whetstone. With this tool you will be able to sharpen stuff exceptionally quickly (I haven't done my shears yet - but I reckon they will be just as easy) and get things to a very good standard. When you are sharpening you can see the metal grinding off in tiny pieces, so don't do it around electronics incase you want to short them out. It has the ability to hone tools as well, which it does quite nicely. In short; very good product, and if/when it breaks - I will be buying this thing again. Seems pretty sturdy however, so I suspect it will last a while.

Werkt relatief grof maar goed, ik had m vooral voor tuingereedschap, de grasmaaier snel scherp houden en de tuinscharen. Mijn goede koksmessen zal ik er niet snel doorhalen, maar er zit ook een klein stukje keramiek op, wellicht werkt dit goed maar heb ik nog niet geprobeerd
