Wasn't interested, and didn't need to know how to fight, target shoot, and qualifying using the M-1. As a historical book, maybe, but wouldn't you want the real Field Manual. But if you're looking for information about your M-1, like how to disassemble, reassemble, real pictures showing how to do that. Information about modern bullets ballistics, even that information about the traditional bullet.

No really new information.

Since it was a reprint the illustrations could haver been enhanced. Other than that fine.
