The Vanderbeekers to the Rescue (The Vanderbeekers, 3) Hardcover – September 17, 2019

These books are incredible and I got them for my niece for Christmas and I can’t wait until she opens them. I purchased several of them.

The Vanderbeekers to the Rescue is very similar to the other two Vanderbeeker books–the Vanderbeeker children have to fix a problem–but is just as delightful as the other two!Like in the other two books, I loved seeing the family dynamics and how well Glaser writes them. All of the characters are so great, and I just love watching their stories unfold.I do always wonder a little bit when I read the Vanderbeeker books about whether or not it is realistic for a bunch of kids to travel around New York City on their own. However, the Vanderbeeker children do have to get around to propel the plot onward.Overall, The Vanderbeekers to the Rescue is another great addition to the Vanderbeekers series.Cautions: none

My kids (ages 9 and 11) and I have loved the two previous Vanderbeeker books and were eagerly awaiting the third installment. This one was just as good, if not better, than the first two! In The Vanderbeekers to the Rescue, the kids accidentally destroy their mom's home baking business and have to overcome a series of obstacles to try to fix everything. We are animal lovers and especially loved all the animals that show up in this book. I highly recommend all three books in this series! We can't wait for the next one!

This series never gets old. Each time we read the next volume, it becomes our favorite! My kids enjoy it as a read aloud from ages 5-12. But mom may enjoy it the most!

The Vanderbeekers live in Harlem where they occupy two floors of an old brownstone. They and their neighbors form a wonderful community, helping each other and trying to improve their neighborhood. When Mrs. Vanderbeeker's home baking business is closed down because of violations of city regulations, the children come up with a plan to fix things. In the meantime, someone keeps leaving homeless animals on their doorstep.. The parents make it clear that they can't keep all of the rescued animals, which include kittens, guinea pigs, chickens and a dog, the children have to find homes for all the animals. The Vanderbeekers are my favorite family in literature and I can't wait for their next adventure.

Ok not that exciting but not bad for kids 6to10 but older kids not recommended

Our family has read this series out loud. We love the adventures of the Vanderbeekers and this third book does not disappoint. Lots of great discussion points possible throughout the book.

Lots of love, some humor, and a little mystery. My 11 year old girl and 8 year old boy love the Vanderbeekers books. They are wholesome stories where friends and neighbors are included and loved like family.

Book arrived in good condition, fair price, and is lovely.

Favourite series by my 10 year old!

This was one of the best books I’ve ever read the cover complement to the book and the book itself had a good amount of writing for ages 9-12.
